The BMW 3 Series 318i features a 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 156 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. The high-performance M340i xDrive is powered by a 3.0-litre inline 6-cylinder turbo engine delivering 374 hp and 500 Nm, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

According to official WLTP figures, the BMW 3 Series 318i has a combined fuel consumption of approximately 6.4 to 7.2 litres per 100 km. The more powerful M340i xDrive has higher consumption at around 7.8 to 8.5 litres per 100 km.

The BMW 3 Series measures 4,713 mm in length, 1,827 mm in width, and 1,440 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,851 mm. Compared to the previous generation, the body is 76 mm longer and the wheelbase has increased by 41 mm, providing a more spacious cabin.

For Mild-Hybrid models (such as the M340i), the 48V battery is a high-voltage system and should only be inspected by factory-trained technicians.
