Porsche recently held a media launch event at the Wan Chai Porsche Centre to announce the arrival of the all-new fourth-generation Cayenne Electric in Hong Kong. As Porsche's second all-electric SUV following the Macan, the new model represents the full implementation of the brand's diversified powertrain strategy encompassing petrol, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric models. With class-leading performance and advanced charging technology, the Cayenne Electric is set to redefine the local luxury electric SUV segment. The first batch of vehicles is expected to arrive and begin deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Built on Porsche's dedicated all-electric architecture, the new Cayenne Electric features a more imposing presence and substantially enhanced practicality. The vehicle measures 4,985mm in length with a 3,023mm wheelbase — increases of 55mm and 130mm respectively over the petrol version. It has a width of 1,980mm and a height of 1,674mm. The extended wheelbase delivers exceptionally spacious rear legroom, while standard electric rear seats further improve long-distance comfort.

Luggage capacity is equally impressive, with boot volume ranging from 781 litres to 1,588 litres, plus a 90-litre front trunk. This dual-storage design fully meets the diverse needs of daily commuting, weekend getaways, and shopping trips in Hong Kong.

The Cayenne Electric comes standard with the Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) package, including front air curtains, adjustable cooling air flaps, an active rear spoiler, a fully enclosed underbody, low-resistance wheels, and a rear diffuser. The top-spec Turbo version additionally features an active rear air intake grille, achieving an outstanding class-leading drag coefficient of 0.25Cd.
Distinctive exterior highlights include slim LED headlights, a 3D rear light bar with dynamic lighting effects, and illuminated Porsche lettering. The Turbo version stands out with exclusive black badges, model-specific identifiers, 22-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, and red brake calipers, exuding a strong sense of sporty luxury.
The cabin is designed around Porsche's new Driver Experience philosophy, featuring the brand's largest-ever display interface. Core elements include a curved OLED central touchscreen, a 14.25-inch OLED fully digital instrument cluster, and an optional 14.9-inch passenger-side screen. The Turbo version adds exclusive carbon-fibre trim to heighten the sporty atmosphere.

Additional features include a new digital interactive interface, an AR head-up display, an electrochromic panoramic sunroof, and an upgraded intelligent voice assistant, seamlessly blending cutting-edge digital technology with Porsche's luxury ambiance.
Hong Kong's initial launch includes two models: the Cayenne Electric and the flagship Cayenne Turbo Electric. Both are equipped with a standard 113kWh high-voltage battery and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system.
The entry-level Cayenne Electric starts at HK$1,398,000, delivering 442 PS and 835 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds, with a top speed of 230km/h and a WLTP range of 642km.

The high-performance Cayenne Turbo Electric starts at HK$2,568,000. With Launch Control, it unleashes up to 1,156 PS and 1,150 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100km/h in just 2.5 seconds and 0–200km/h in 7.4 seconds. It has a top speed of 260km/h and a WLTP range of 623km.
Both variants come standard with the Push-to-Pass overtaking assist function, providing up to 10 seconds of extra power for effortless overtaking. The entire range features PASM adaptive air suspension, while the Turbo version adds PTV Plus torque vectoring and rear-axle steering, giving this large SUV sports car-like agility and precision.
The advanced 800V architecture supports DC fast charging up to 400kW. Charging from 10% to 80% takes just 16 minutes. Under ideal conditions, a 10-minute charge can add up to 325km of range for the standard model and 315km for the Turbo version.
