The ARCFOX αS is the flagship executive electric sedan from ARCFOX, the premium new energy vehicle (NEV) marque under BAIC Group. Originally debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2021, it is positioned as a "new-generation premium smart luxury pure electric sedan." Following the brand's maiden production model, the αT, the αS marks ARCFOX's first-ever sedan offering, whilst also standing as the world's first mass-produced car equipped with the full-stack Huawei HI smart vehicle solution and the world's first production model supporting urban advanced intelligent driving assistance.

Powered by the Huawei MDC810 computing platform packing 400 TOPS of processing power alongside centimetre-level HD mapping, it enables full-scenario autonomous navigation including Urban NCA (Navigation Cruise Assist), Highway NCA, APA, RPA, and Automated Valet Parking (AVP). Featuring 3 solid-state LiDARs, 34 high-performance sensors, and an aviation-grade full-redundancy safety architecture, it allows legal hands-off driving at speeds of up to 80 km/h. Customer test drives opened in Q2 2026, marking the true commercialisation and mass-production rollout of conditional Level 3 automated driving.
