Arcfox has confirmed that its flagship 'all-scenario comfort flagship MPV', the WenDao V9, will officially launch on May 27 with global deliveries commencing the same day. Pre-sales opened on April 28, offering four variants priced between RMB 219,900 and RMB 286,900 after subsidies.

The V9 measures 5,300 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width and 1,850 mm in height, with a 3,200 mm wheelbase, surpassing key rivals such as the Denza D9 in overall footprint. The vehicle rides on the Polaris digital architecture and debuts China's first production magnetorheological suspension system as standard. A front-facing road sensor detects road irregularities up to 25 metres ahead, while AI algorithms adjust damping thousands of times per second, achieving a 75 km/h moose test result.

The cabin features twin zero-gravity second-row seats with 16-point air massage and graphene heating. The third row benefits from 500 mm seat cushions with electric adjustment and heating. A 22-speaker audio system, 21.4-inch folding rear screen, four-zone climate control, and a 10-litre centre-console fridge are all standard.

Powertrain is Huawei's Snow Owl 1.5T extended-range system with a 227 kW rear motor. The 43.23% thermal efficiency engine charges a CATL battery offering 310 km of CLTC electric range and up to 1,330 km of total range, with 4C fast charging capable of replenishing 20–80% in 15 minutes.

For Hong Kong buyers, a right-hand-drive version has not yet been confirmed. If homologated under the "One-for-One Replacement" EV tax scheme, the V9 would cost approximately HK$240,000–320,000, competing directly with the Toyota Alphard and Nissan Elgrand. No RHD timeline or distributor plans have been announced.
