Li Auto officially commenced customer deliveries of the all-new L9 flagship SUV on May 17 in Changzhou and Hangzhou, with its 530 nationwide showrooms now fully stocked with display and test-drive vehicles. The first production model from the brand to feature "Embodied AI" technology, the new L9 is offered in two variants — Ultra and Livis — priced between RMB 459,800 and RMB 509,800.

Range and Charging
The new L9 is equipped with a 72.7 kWh CATL 5C Qilin battery and Li Auto’s third-generation range extender, delivering a 420 km all-electric range and a combined range of 1,650 km under CLTC conditions. The 420 kW peak charging power enables a 10–80% top-up in approximately 10 minutes, bringing electric-only refuelling speeds to the full-size SUV segment. WLTC fuel consumption in depleted mode stands at 6.3 litres per 100 km, and the extended-range interval reaches three years or 30,000 km, substantially lowering running costs.
Chassis and Technology

The new L9 debuts the world’s first full-spec steer-by-wire chassis, integrating steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, and the world’s first production electromechanical brake (EMB) system. The Livis variant adds 800-volt active suspension. Inside, dual 5nm self-developed M100 chips deliver 2,560 TOPS of computing power, while quad zero-gravity seats, a 29-inch 6K central display, and a 21-inch rear screen redefine the in-cabin entertainment experience.
Hong Kong Outlook

If homologated under Hong Kong’s "One-for-One Replacement" EV tax scheme, the new L9 would likely land in the HK$500,000–550,000 bracket, competing directly with the Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5. However, Li Auto Hong Kong has not yet announced any right-hand-drive development timeline or distributor plans.
