Yijing Auto has unveiled its first family‑focused flagship SUV, the Yijing X9, at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Positioned as a “premium smart large six‑seat SUV”, the X9 is the brand’s first production model equipped with the latest Huawei Qiankun full‑stack intelligent solution, covering five core technology modules: Qiankun ADAS, vehicle control, in‑car optics, cloud services, and HarmonySpace cockpit. The debut marks the tangible outcome of the strategic partnership between Dongfeng Motor Group and Huawei Qiankun.

The Yijing X9 measures 5.3 metres in length with a 3.1‑metre wheelbase, placing it in the full‑size large SUV segment. It adopts a 2+2+2 independent six‑seat layout. Second‑row independent aviation seats offer electric adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage, along with folding tables and USB ports. The third‑row seats are also electrically adjustable and heated, eliminating the cramped “emergency‑only” limitation typical of many three‑row SUVs.

The exterior features a clean, formal design language. A closed front grille is paired with a full‑width LED daytime running light and split matrix headlamps. A high‑specification LiDAR unit is clearly visible on the roof, flanked by small blue ADAS indicator lights. Hidden door handles and large multi‑spoke wheels enhance the vehicle’s technological and premium appearance. A full‑width LED rear light cluster with parametric detailing completes the rear design. Notably, charging and fuel filler ports are located on opposite sides of the vehicle, confirming that both all‑electric (BEV) and extended‑range (EREV) powertrains will be offered.

The Yijing X9 is the brand‘s first production vehicle to feature the full Huawei Qiankun stack. For perception, the new Qiankun ADAS system is paired with an industry‑leading 896‑line dual‑path image‑grade LiDAR, alongside multiple 4D mmWave radars, HD cameras and ultrasonic sensors, creating a 360‑degree perception matrix. The system supports urban and highway navigation cruise assist (NCA), enabling automatic lane changes, overtaking, ramp entry/exit, traffic light recognition, unprotected turns and mixed‑traffic navigation. Full‑scene auto parking and remote parking functions are also included.
Inside, the HarmonySpace cockpit delivers the complete Huawei ecosystem experience. A large floating centre screen and a front passenger entertainment display run on the HarmonyOS architecture, supporting seamless multi‑device connectivity, full‑scene voice control and OTA updates. Huawei devices such as phones and tablets can wirelessly stream navigation, music and video calls to the car‘s displays.
Qiankun vehicle control and cloud services manage the underlying chassis and data functions. The Huawei XMC digital chassis engine integrates suspension, steering, braking and powertrain control with millisecond response times. With 6C ultra‑fast charging, the Qiankun cloud platform can intelligently plan charging routes and provide real‑time charger availability.

The Yijing X9 will be offered in both battery electric (BEV) and extended‑range (EREV) versions, both based on an 800V high‑voltage architecture. The BEV variant is expected to deliver over 850 km of CLTC range, while the EREV version surpasses 1,300 km of combined range. Both support 6C ultra‑fast charging, adding approximately 200 km of range in just 5 minutes. The chassis will feature dual‑chamber air suspension, CDC adaptive dampers and rear‑wheel active steering to reduce the turning circle of this large SUV.
Yijing Auto was jointly unveiled by Dongfeng Motor Group and Huawei Qiankun in November 2025 as a premium intelligent electric vehicle brand. The partnership is built on joint definition, joint development and co‑located offices. Dongfeng contributes 57 years of manufacturing experience and supply chain expertise, while Huawei Qiankun provides full‑stack intelligent technology. The Yijing X9‘s first prototype rolled off the line in December 2025, and cold‑weather testing was completed in January 2026. The vehicle will be officially launched and delivered in 2026, with an expected price range of RMB 380,000‑520,000, competing with flagship six‑seat SUVs such as the Aito M9 and Li Auto L9.
The Yijing X9 combines a full‑size 5.3‑metre body, a premium 2+2+2 six‑seat layout, Huawei‘s Qiankun full‑stack smart solution and an 800V high‑voltage platform, making it one of the most compelling family‑focused flagship SUVs at Auto Beijing 2026. For Hong Kong customers, right‑hand‑drive development and the maturing new‑energy vehicle ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area suggest the X9 could eventually reach the local market. The Yijing X9 remains on display at the Dongfeng Motor booth, Hall A3, Capital International Exhibition Convention Center.
