TopCar Design is a premier luxury car modification brand originating from Russia, renowned for its extreme carbon fiber body manufacturing and bold, aggressive styling. Often acclaimed as Porsche's official custom workshop brand, it was founded by Oleg Egorov in 2004 in Moscow. Over more than two decades of development, TopCar has grown into a top-tier global carbon fiber body manufacturer and one of the world's leading luxury car modification workshops.

The brand enjoys international fame within the custom modification community for its sharp design aesthetics, often described as akin to the "Russian Fighter Nation" style. Its logo features an impactful Great White Shark, symbolizing speed and sharpness. TopCar products are exported to over 20 countries and regions. Leveraging its deep expertise in high-end customization, the brand has won countless honors in the modification markets for top luxury marques such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini, and McLaren.

History

TopCar's inception stemmed from 2004. Founder Oleg Egorov keenly captured the explosion in high-end sports car collection and personalized modification demand against the backdrop of Russia's economic development. From its inception, the brand focused its R&D efforts on deep modification of Porsche models. The first-generation Porsche Cayenne (Cayenne 957) projects—three series named Advantage GT, GTR, and GT—gained widespread market success upon launch, laying the technical foundation for the brand in the luxury SUV modification field.

Subsequently, TopCar leveraged global top-tier exhibition platforms to rapidly enhance its fame. The brand's debut at Essen Motor Show, Europe's largest modification exhibition, won international reputation. Leveraging the influence of international exhibitions, the brand not only established strategic cooperation with German well-known brands 9ff and Lumma Design, but also became the importer for the US top-tier forged wheel brand ADV.1 Wheels in the Russian market, introducing multiple modified versions of BMW X6/X6 M such as Lumma CLR X650 and X650 M into the Russian market. From Porsche Cayenne and Panamera to Bentley Continental GT, BMW X5 and 7 Series, through continuous project iteration, TopCar gradually established its core competitiveness in the high-end custom modification field.

In 2010, TopCar officially entered the international market, becoming an important milestone in the brand's development history. The brand actively participated in global top-tier exhibitions such as the Top Marques Monaco luxury exhibition and the Geneva Auto Show, establishing a foothold in the international community. In 2015, the brand launched the Mercedes-Benz Inferno series. Relying on unique bumpers, side skirts, and exclusive wheel designs, it significantly enhanced the visual presentation of Mercedes-Benz models, becoming another iconic product line for TopCar. In 2017, the brand collaborated cross-industry with Swiss watch giant Hublot, launching limited edition watches, further expanding its reach in the luxury field.

Product Portfolio

TopCar does not produce complete vehicles but instead performs deep custom modifications on original factory luxury models specified by customers. The brand’s official business has long focused on high-end customization services for four major marques: Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, and Lamborghini. Modification coverage comprehensively includes exterior aerodynamic kits, interior customization, forged wheels, powertrain tuning, and exhaust system upgrades.

In the Porsche series, TopCar has created multiple milestone projects. The 911 Stinger GTR Carbon Edition stands as the brand's most representative masterpiece, limited to just 13 units globally. It utilizes up to 84 carbon fiber parts to recast the body, earning it the title of the "full carbon fiber Porsche 911." The Cayenne series serves as the foundation of TopCar’s success, with first-generation projects including the Advantage GT, GTR, and GT models. Second-generation models introduced wide-body kits such as the Vantage 2, Red Dragon, and Carbon Edition. Additionally, TopCar developed the Stingray GTR kit for the Panamera, with a starting price of €40,700.

The Mercedes-Benz series represents another core sector for the brand alongside Porsche. TopCar developed a full carbon fiber wide-body kit for the G-Class off-roader, provided top-tier interior reshaping services for the W222 S-Guard, and created the performance-upgraded Inferno Hellfire kit for the ML 63 AMG. The brand also launched an appearance kit inspired by sharks for the GLE Coupe, achieving lightweight effects through the use of high-strength carbon fiber materials.

Beyond these two core brands, TopCar has extended its modification business to marques such as Land Rover Range Rover, McLaren, Lamborghini, and Bentley. At the end of 2022, TopCar officially entered the Chinese market through Luxury Car Report, with the first introduced model being a custom version of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The brand has also completed modification schemes for non-core brands, such as the Bentley Continental GT Bullet aerodynamic kit and the MINI Cooper S Bully shark-element kit, the latter featuring personal design input from famous Russian designer Denis Simachev.

Market Performance

TopCar adopts a business model of pure custom direct sales plus global partner channels. The brand maintains excellent product premium due to high scarcity. Taking Porsche 911 992 Stinger GTR Carbon Edition as an example, the price of the full set of carbon fiber body parts is about 100,000 Euros. After selecting forged wheels, titanium exhaust, and painting projects, the total modification cost is about 138,000 Euros — close to the original factory price of a brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S. The total on-road price including the original vehicle price and modification costs is conservatively estimated to be above 290,000 Euros.

In terms of cooperation network, TopCar maintains long-term strategic synergy with top modification brands such as German 9ff and Lumma Design, while maintaining close cooperation with exhaust system brands like Kline and Akrapovic and wheel manufacturer ADV.1. The after-sales service system is covered through the Moscow main service center and the global cooperative dealer network; the brand is in a stage of continuous expansion.

Technology and Innovation

TopCar's technical strength is mainly reflected in four levels: full carbon fiber body manufacturing, aerodynamics development, power tuning, and interior customization.

Carbon fiber technology is TopCar's most core technical barrier. The 84 carbon fiber parts used in the Stinger GTR project are each made of four layers of carbon fiber material. Combined with special dyeing paint between different layers, it can achieve original color carbon fiber appearances such as brown and black. The craftsmanship complexity and material standards of the full set of parts far exceed general carbon fiber body kits.

Regarding aerodynamic design, TopCar independently develops exclusive body kits for each modified model, covering parts such as front lips, side skirts, rear diffusers, and rear wings. For example, TopCar reconfigured the dual twin exhaust outlets for the G63 AMG, changing the original single-side layout to the brand's iconic two-sided symmetric layout, strengthening the combat atmosphere and functionality.

In terms of power and performance upgrades, TopCar collaborates with professional power tuning companies such as Evotech Motorsport to launch solutions such as ECU program rewriting and high-performance intake and exhaust systems. The modified Porsche Panamera's maximum power can be increased to 600 horsepower, with 0-100 acceleration shortened to 3.2 to 3.4 seconds. In the TopCar Porsche 911 Carrera 4S project, precision computer program rewriting plus titanium exhaust system makes the model's maximum horsepower reach 460 hp.

Regarding interior customization, TopCar extensively uses high-grade leather, Alcantara material, and carbon fiber trim panels for refitting, and can even use 24K gold for interior decoration according to customer needs. The brand also upgrades through digital cockpits, integrating functions such as 12.3-inch high-resolution touch screens, balancing sports feel and technological sense.

Global Presence

TopCar adopts a global R&D dual-headquarters architecture: the R&D headquarters is located in Moscow, Russia, while the global design headquarters is situated in Los Angeles, California, USA. The choice of Los Angeles is viewed by the brand as a visionary move; Hollywood's pop culture provides a cutting-edge aesthetic vision, the strong luxury car modification culture on the US West Coast endows the brand with a global perspective, and the Beverly Hills circle of billionaires and celebrities offers a natural target customer base.

TopCar products have been exported to over 20 countries and regions worldwide. As of early 2026, official business expansion includes Kazakhstan (entered in 2022) and Kyrgyzstan (entered in 2022), with plans to expand into the UAE and Turkey (both initiatives started in 2023).

In the Chinese market, the brand officially announced its entry at the end of 2022 through the well-known domestic luxury car dealer, Luxury Car Report. The first batch of custom Mercedes-Benz V-Class "first-class cabin" models arrived at the Shanghai showroom for display in mid-to-late December 2022, marking TopCar's formal establishment in the mainland China high-end custom car market. Since then, actual cases of modified vehicles, such as the TopCar Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Porsche 911, have frequently appeared in domestic forums and communities, indicating that the Chinese market is rapidly becoming one of the brand's key potential growth areas.

Future Outlook

Looking ahead, TopCar will continue to focus on high-end custom services for its four core luxury brands, continuously deepening the technical barriers in full carbon fiber body manufacturing and aerodynamic design. In terms of channel expansion, the brand aims to further improve its global distribution network, promoting business establishment in high-net-worth customer hubs such as the UAE and Turkey, while continuing to expand in the mainland China consumer market through partners like Luxury Car Report. Regarding brand collaborations, TopCar maintains its cross-border luxury cooperation strategy, exemplified by its partnership with Hublot, and is seeking more brand linkages in the fashion and lifestyle sectors.

Amid the global automotive industry's shift toward electrification, TopCar has begun preliminary explorations into modifying electric vehicle models, such as those from Tesla, intending to extend its high-performance customization expertise to new technology platforms. By preserving its handmade craftsmanship spirit and distinct "Russian Fighter Nation" aesthetic, TopCar is continuously evolving toward its vision of becoming "the most aggressive luxury custom brand in the world."
