2026 Li i6 launched in China: 780 km range, 29-inch screen, zero-gravity front seats, from HK$294,000

Li Auto has launched the updated 2026 Li i6 in China, with prices starting at RMB 249,800 (approximately HK$294,000).

The five-seat electric SUV receives six key upgrades covering lighting, storage, seating, infotainment, driving range and driver assistance technology. Among the biggest changes is a larger 96 kWh battery, which increases the rear-wheel-drive version's claimed CLTC range to 780 km.

Dimensions

The 2026 i6 retains its five-seat SUV layout, measuring 4,950 mm long, 1,935 mm wide and 1,655 mm tall, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase.

With its long wheelbase and spacious cabin, the i6 continues to focus on family buyers looking for comfort and practicality.

Upgrades for the 2026 model

Powered front boot and improved seating

The front boot now comes with electric opening as standard, replacing the previous manual arrangement. Owners can open it using voice commands or a double-tap gesture.

Inside, the front seats have been upgraded to two full-size zero-gravity seats, complete with an 18-point full-body massage function.

Rear passengers also benefit from greater adjustability. The maximum seat recline angle has increased from 125 to 140 degrees, complemented by electrically operated leg rests.

ADB matrix headlights

The 2026 i6 gains intelligent Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) matrix headlights, designed to improve visibility when driving at night.

29-inch 6K display and upgraded processor

A 29-inch 6K panoramic display is now standard, alongside a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 cockpit processor.

The infotainment system also supports Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar and CarLink, giving drivers several options for connecting their smartphones.

Larger 96 kWh battery extends range to 780 km

The updated i6 uses Li Auto's in-house-developed Lianshan 5C battery, with a capacity of 96 kWh.

For the rear-wheel-drive model, claimed CLTC range has increased from 720 km to 780 km, a gain of 60 km. The all-wheel-drive version offers a claimed range of 710 km.

Upgraded driver assistance hardware

The new i6 is equipped with Li Auto's in-house-developed Mach M100 intelligent driving assistance platform.

A dual-M100 chip configuration is available as an option for buyers seeking additional processing capability.

Performance and charging

The rear-wheel-drive i6 produces 250 kW, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version delivers a combined 400 kW and accelerates from 0–100km/h in 4.8 seconds.

The SUV supports 5C fast charging, although actual charging speeds will depend on charger output, battery condition and other factors.
