Volkswagen ID.4

From the Beetle that put Germany on four wheels to the Golf that defined a generation, Volkswagen has always been about mobility for the masses. But after the 2015 diesel emissions scandal, the brand executed one of the industry’s swiftest pivots—betting big on the MEB electric platform and the ID. family, including the ID.3 and ID.4. The “New Auto” strategy now targets software‑defined vehicles, with the Trinity project promising Level 4 autonomy and 12‑minute charging times. Yet Volkswagen hasn’t abandoned its heritage; the iconic Microbus returns as the ID. Buzz, merging nostalgia with zero‑emission technology. With a global footprint spanning Europe, China, and the Americas, and investments in battery plants and mobile charging robots, Volkswagen is rewriting its story from “people’s car” to “people’s electric future,” aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050 while keeping driving accessible, safe, and enjoyable for all.
