Volkswagen Officially Enters Uzbekistan Market with VW and Jetta Brands

Volkswagen China has announced that its Volkswagen and Jetta brands have officially entered the Uzbekistan market. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time the Volkswagen Group has entrusted the full operation and management of an overseas export market entirely to its Chinese team, using only vehicle models developed and manufactured in China.

By leveraging China's strong technological capabilities, advanced manufacturing systems, and mature supply chain advantages, the brands are able to better align with the actual needs of consumers in emerging markets. Volkswagen emphasised that this expansion is the first official implementation of granting its Chinese team full responsibility for overseas export operations.

The brands will adhere to globally unified quality standards while highlighting the advantages of "Made in China", offering high cost-performance products tailored to the local market. At the same time, Volkswagen plans to promote local production in Uzbekistan in stages to further strengthen its long-term presence.
