III. Brand Emblem

At the heart of the SAIC MAXUS emblem are three cohesive, progressively layered arrowheads, representing the core brand values of "Technology, Trust, and Progress". The surrounding oval ring symbolises SAIC MAXUS's global strategic vision and its deep-rooted synergy with SAIC Motor. The seamless integration of the oval frame and the three arrows encapsulates the core brand pillars of "Technology, Trust, and Progress".

2025–Present

2014–2025

2010–2014

The original SAIC MAXUS badge featured three arrowheads combined with the British MAXUS wordmark in a pronounced 3D design, clearly accentuating both elements.

2014–2016

In 2016, SAIC MAXUS revised the emblem by removing the MAXUS lettering directly underneath the badge and integrating it below the main SAIC MAXUS brand script to clarify their hierarchical relationship. Concurrently, an oval outer ring was introduced, closely framing the three interlocking arrows.

2019 to Present

In 2019, SAIC MAXUS refined the logo further. Retaining its fundamental geometry, the brand adopted a clean, minimalist 2D flat-design aesthetic in line with modern automotive design trends.

IV. Model Lineup

The SAIC MAXUS portfolio encompasses MPVs, SUVs, motorhomes, wide-body commercial vans, and pick-up trucks, achieving complete market coverage across passenger and commercial vehicle segments. Led by the G10 and G20, its MPV lineup has served high-level international summits including APEC and the G20. In the SUV arena, the lineup features the rugged, ladder-frame D90 alongside family-oriented urban crossovers like the D60. In the domestic campervan, pick-up truck, and commercial van segments, SAIC MAXUS also fields a robust selection of competitive models, alongside its innovative EUNIQ hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle series.

Flagship Model Line: SAIC MAXUS G10

Debuting in 2013, the SAIC MAXUS G10 is a full-size MPV styled by renowned Italian design house Torino Design. It features a ZF automatic transmission and a high-comfort chassis expertly tuned by LOTUS UK. The model has served as official transport for numerous high-profile global summits and sporting events, and was selected as a parade command vehicle during the Grand Military Parade. In the market, the G10 competes directly with segment rivals such as the GAC Trumpchi M8 and Buick GL8.

V. Core Technologies

Spider Intelligent Connectivity: Introduced in 2021, the Spider Intelligent Connectivity system is SAIC MAXUS's next-generation smart infotainment platform developed in partnership with Tencent TAI. Paired with Spider Intelligent Driving technologies and powered by SAIC's third-generation domain controller architecture, it delivers exceptional ride refinement and cornering stability, accelerating MPV owners into the era of intelligent mobility. The system is currently featured on the new MAXUS G20 and G50 PLUS.

Cloud Diagnostic Platform Architecture: Utilising the integrated iCGM intelligent connected gateway, this architecture creates an on-board smart data hub providing 24/7 vehicle diagnostics and predictive fault detection. It enables preemptive remote diagnostics before drivers even detect an issue, as well as rapid remote specialist support when repairs are needed. Owners can monitor complete vehicle health metrics in real time via a dedicated smartphone app. This system is currently deployed on the SAIC MAXUS D90 PRO, V90, and G20.

VI. Vehicle Architectures

MIFA Platform: SAIC MAXUS has engineered an all-new platform capable of supporting transverse front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, dedicated new energy powertrains, as well as SUVs, MPVs, and pick-up trucks. It incorporates advanced capabilities such as C2B smart customer-to-business customisation, intelligent connected vehicle technologies, biometric recognition, and intuitive human-machine interface (HMI) systems, marking the commercial maturity of SAIC MAXUS's next-generation connected vehicle technologies. The MIFA 9 premium electric MPV serves as the platform's inaugural model.

VII. Brand Heritage in China

In 2009, SAIC acquired the intellectual property and vehicle platforms of the British commercial vehicle brand MAXUS, introducing it to the Chinese market under the MAXUS marque as SAIC's dedicated commercial vehicle arm alongside Roewe and MG. In 2016, SAIC MAXUS was honoured with the "National May 1st Labour Certificate", the annual "Shanghai Quality Gold Award", and served as a Senior Sponsor for the G20 Hangzhou Summit. In 2017, the SAIC MAXUS G10 served as the official command and logistics support vehicle for the PLA 90th Anniversary Military Parade, and in 2018, the brand was appointed the designated transport provider for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Secretariat. Furthermore, SAIC MAXUS maintains deep strategic partnerships with leading tech conglomerates such as Alibaba and Tencent.
