XPENG October 2026 deliveries hit record 50,237 units, overseas sales jump 166%

XPENG delivered 50,237 vehicles in October 2026, setting a new monthly record and marking the first time its deliveries have exceeded 50,000 units in a single month. The total was up 22% from September and 20% year on year.

Deliveries rose from 41,256 units in September, an increase of almost 9,000 vehicles. October was also the second consecutive month of growth for the company.

Overseas deliveries

Overseas markets were a major contributor to XPENG's growth. The company delivered 13,326 vehicles outside China in October, up 166% year on year and setting a new monthly record.

Based on the company's figures, overseas deliveries accounted for around 26.5% of its total, meaning more than one in every four vehicles delivered went to international markets.

XPENG is continuing to expand its overseas line-up. The MONA series, a key part of its global strategy, has recorded more than 360,000 cumulative deliveries in the two years since its launch. Its new GX model has also received nearly 4,000 orders in the Middle East, even though local pricing has yet to be announced.

Level 4 Robotaxi trials

XPENG is also making progress in autonomous driving and other new business areas. On 26 October, the company received approval to conduct L4 autonomous taxi (Robotaxi) demonstration operations in Guangzhou.

According to the company's announcement, the approval takes its Robotaxi programme beyond technical testing and into real-world operations, allowing it to assess the technology and its potential business model in practice. It is also a step towards commercialising XPENG's Physical AI technology.

Robotaxi services operate on a different business model from conventional vehicle sales, and their long-term viability will depend on factors such as operational performance, technical reliability and market acceptance. The approval nevertheless marks further progress in XPENG's efforts to bring autonomous driving technology into everyday use.
