BYD Remains Firmly in the Top 100 of Fortune Global 500

The 2026 Fortune Global 500 list was released. BYD appeared on the list for the 5th consecutive year, ranking 91st, and firmly secured its place in the global top 100. In 2025, the company's revenue was 804 billion yuan, net profit was 32.6 billion yuan, and new energy vehicle sales reached 4.6 million vehicles, consecutively winning the sales champion title in the global and Chinese markets; cumulative sales in the first half of 2026 exceeded 1.8 million vehicles, and July welcomed the rollout of the 17 millionth new energy vehicle, becoming the first automaker to reach this milestone.

Adhering to "Technology is King, Innovation is Foundation" is BYD's core competitiveness. R&D investment in 2025 was 63.4 billion yuan, ranking first among A-share listed companies for two consecutive years, with cumulative R&D investment exceeding 250 billion yuan. In March this year, the second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charge technology were released. By the end of the year, plans are to build 20,000 domestic Flash Charge stations and deploy 6,000 overseas Flash Charge stations; in May, the Laser-assisted version of "God's Eye B" auxiliary driving, compatible with the entire series, was launched, ushering in an era of city navigation for everyone.

In terms of global layout, BYD has established a pattern of "leading in Latin America, breaking through in Europe, and blooming in multiple points across Asia-Pacific", with business covering 121 countries and regions. Overseas sales exceeded 1 million vehicles in 2025, and over 780,000 in the first half of 2026. This year marks the inauguration of Brazil SkyRail and the second anniversary of the Thailand factory's production, entering a new stage of high-quality globalization.
