According to the latest sales data statistics by overseas blogger @piloly, as of August 2026, Tesla's cumulative sales in 14 countries globally this year have all exceeded the full year of 2025.

Specifically, these 14 countries include South Korea, France, Australia, Germany, Japan, Colombia, Thailand, New Zealand, etc., covering multiple regions such as Asia, Europe, Oceania, and South America.
Among them, as of August this year, Tesla's cumulative sales in the South Korean market have surpassed 76,000 units, with monthly sales again breaking 10,000, and ranking first in South Korean imported car sales for 7 consecutive months starting from February this year. In August, the Model Y also surpassed multiple popular local South Korean models, becoming the best-selling passenger car locally.

Similar to the South Korean market, the French market was previously dominated for a long time by French local brands such as Renault. Tesla has achieved rapid sales growth with strong product capabilities. From January to August 2026, Tesla's cumulative sales in France reached 36,000 units, a year-on-year growth of 148%. The Model Y became the best-selling model across all categories in France twice in June and August this year.

In the Australian market, Tesla's total delivery volume in August increased by 163% compared to the same period last year. This year, the Model Y became the best-selling model across all categories in the Australian market three times in May, June, and August successively.

Apart from solid sales data, the real choices of owners also continue to prove Tesla's hot-selling strength. Owner @teslafamilylog shared their family experience: Since mom bought the first Model 3, the whole family quickly became fans of Tesla. He and his brother and dad then purchased 3 more cars successively, and the four cars directly covered the whole family's travel.
