APAxpo 2026 Foshan: Real-world custom builds meet the 3rd Greater Bay Area Model Show

The 2026 APAxpo Foshan Auto Modification Expo drew to a close on 18 October after three days of modified cars, motorsport culture and automotive activities at the Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Foshan, Guangdong.

Held from 16 to 18 October, the International Automotive and Motorcycle Sports Culture & Personalised Travel Exhibition (APAxpo Foshan) brought together more than 1,000 automotive and aftermarket brands from China and overseas. The exhibition covered over 100,000 square metres, with more than 3,000 modified and customised vehicles on display.

Alongside the modified vehicles, the third Greater Bay Area Model Show gave visitors a chance to explore the world of scale-model cars and radio-controlled vehicles.

The dedicated exhibition featured highly detailed RC models, collectible model cars and hands-on activities, including a Turbo Racing 1:43-scale tabletop racing experience. It attracted families and model car enthusiasts throughout the event.

More than 100 automotive influencers and special guests also attended APAxpo, meeting fans through autograph sessions and other activities.

There was plenty of variety among the vehicles on display. Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) classics appeared alongside low-slung stance builds and heavily modified performance cars, while electric vehicle upgrades and off-road camping equipment showed how car customisation is extending into different areas of motoring.

The show also gave visitors a closer look at the latest aftermarket parts, accessories and modification technologies.

Beyond the cars themselves, APAxpo served as a meeting point for vehicle manufacturers, aftermarket parts suppliers, modification workshops and customers. With interest in personalised vehicles continuing to grow, the event provided businesses with opportunities to showcase their products and connect with potential partners.

The range of exhibitors also offered a glimpse of how China's car modification industry is developing, particularly in the Greater Bay Area.

Following this year's event, the organisers said they would continue to support a diverse car and motorcycle culture, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. Future editions will also seek to build stronger links between businesses in the Greater Bay Area and overseas markets, while expanding the show's international participation and cultural activities.
