Renault Rafale Hypnotic revealed: 1,500 units, Satin Forest Black, orders open on October 1

Renault has unveiled a new special edition of its flagship SUV, the Rafale Hypnotic Limited Edition. Based on the range-topping Atelier Alpine version, the special edition is limited to 1,500 numbered units worldwide.

The special edition gets an exclusive satin forest black paint and a generous list of standard equipment, making it the most exclusive version of the Rafale so far.

The Rafale Hypnotic is finished in exclusive Satin Forest Black, paired with gloss-black exterior details for a darker and more understated look.

The car retains the Rafale's signature coupé-SUV shape, with its sporty lines contrasting with the satin finish.

Power comes from Renault's range-topping hyper hybrid E-Tech 4x4 300 hp plug-in hybrid system, which sends power to all four wheels.

The chassis setup is carried over from the Atelier Alpine, including active suspension and four-wheel steering.

Renault has also made a number of higher-end features standard on the Rafale Hypnotic. These include an exclusive interior, premium audio system and driver-assistance equipment. Every car comes with its own individual production number as part of the 1,500-unit run.

Orders for the Rafale Hypnotic Limited Edition will open on October 1, 2026, in 14 European countries, including France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

In France, prices start from €63,550 (around HK$530,000).

First deliveries are expected towards the end of 2026.

The special edition will also be shown publicly at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, which runs from October 12 to 18, where it will appear on Renault's stand.
