Chery Group Delivers Strong Growth in May 2026: Exports Surge 80.5%, NEV Sales Exceed 100,000 Units

Chery Group has released its latest sales performance report, showing robust growth in May 2026. The company maintained steady overall momentum, with particularly impressive gains in overseas exports and new energy vehicle (NEV) sales.

In May, Chery Group sold a total of 247,823 vehicles, representing a solid 20.5% year-on-year increase.

• Export Sales: 181,871 units, a remarkable 80.5% year-on-year surge.
• New Energy Vehicle Sales: 100,304 units, up 58.8% year-on-year, successfully crossing the 100,000-unit threshold in a single month.

For the first five months of 2026, Chery Group's cumulative sales reached 1,100,921 units, a 7.2% increase compared to the same period last year.

• Cumulative Exports: 752,755 units, surging 69.5% year-on-year.
• Cumulative NEV Sales: 361,761 units, up 25.7% year-on-year.

As sales scale continues to expand, Chery's global cumulative user base has now surpassed 19.62 million, including more than 6.59 million overseas users. This reflects the brand's steadily growing recognition and acceptance in international markets.
