October 11, Avatr T09 Concept completes global debut in Paris, interior design revealed for the first time. The new car is the pioneering work of Avatr's flagship series, expected to officially launch within 2026, and will appear at the Paris Motor Show from October 12 to 18.

Avatr Technology Chairman Chen Zhuo stated at the press conference that with the launch of T09, Avatr will form two major product series: Digital and Flagship. The Digital series corresponds to pioneering designs of elegance, sportiness, and individuality, while the Flagship series corresponds to flagship designs of nobility, calmness, and presence. Both series share the same "Emotional New Luxury" design philosophy.
Design: Inspired by Architecture
Avatr T09 was led by Avatr Technology Executive Vice President and Chief Designer Nader Faghihzadeh. He mentioned at the press conference that the T09 Concept version transforms the design concept of VISION XPECTRA into a calm and confident noble temperament, opening a new direction of "Noble Luxury" for Avatr.

In terms of appearance, the T09 front face adopts a 3D relief structured grille, composed of 362 Avatr LOGO elements of different 3D heights. The crystal diamond array lighting group uses inner and outer double-layer diamond cut designs, creating a diamond-like fire quality texture. The 2.1 square meter clamshell front hood combines island-like raised sides, creating the volume of a full-size SUV. The body side uses blade-sharp lines, wheel arches and sides use waist-reducing curves, the D-pillar is decorated with aluminum trim panels and integrated into the window outline and spoiler, creating a floating roof visual effect. The rear tail integrated crystal diamond taillights echo the front light group, also using double-layer diamond cut design.

Overall, the design language of the T09 emphasizes architectural and sculptural feel, forming a clear distinction with the streamline style of Avatr's existing digital series models. Whether this calm posture biased towards traditional luxury SUVs can be accepted by the market will depend on the restoration accuracy of the mass-produced version.
Interior: Emotional Vortex and Triple Screen
The interior is the highlight of this debut. T09 features the industry-exclusive Vortex Emotional Vortex design, adopting a 360° seamless two-stage reverse curve and lift structure, built-in 118 RGB LED matrix light sources, which can link with the whole vehicle ambient lighting. The official claimed it optimized silent motor and mechanism operation, and designed anti-pinch function.

From a design perspective, Vortex attempts to establish a tangible connection between digital interaction and physical cockpit, making tech configurations not just screens and buttons, but physical entities capable of emotional expression.
Regarding screens, T09 is equipped with an immersive integrated triple screen, including a 10.25-inch driver instrument panel and dual 17.2-inch central control screen and passenger screen, air conditioning vents on both sides seamlessly fuse with the screen. The vehicle system has built-in NFC function, supporting touch-and-connect. The cockpit overall takes tranquility, generosity, and connection as core design concepts, emphasizing calm, comfort, and cared riding experience.
Technology: Three-Party Collaboration, Hybrid Route
Avatr T09 is the production vehicle with the highest technical density for the brand to date. The new car deeply integrates Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving, HarmonyOS Cockpit, and new Taihang Smart Control technology. Regarding power, T09 is equipped with new intelligent super hybrid technology, equipped with 2.0T hybrid engine and three-motor distributed electric drive, system total power exceeds one thousand horsepower. Battery uses 71.24kWh CATL Qianyao Super Add-Hybrid battery, CLTC pure electric range up to over 400km.
From a technical configuration perspective, T09 continues Avatr's "Changan + Huawei + CATL" three-party collaboration model. Huawei provides smart driving and cockpit solutions, CATL provides batteries, Changan is responsible for whole vehicle manufacturing and chassis tuning.
This combination has already been market-verified on Avatr's existing models. T09 as a flagship model further improves in power specifications and battery capacity. The choice of the super hybrid route also means T09 needs to cover both city pure electric commuting and long-distance travel scenarios, which aligns with the actual usage needs of current 500,000 RMB-class luxury SUV users.
Globalization: Entering Europe in 2027
Avatr T09 debuting in Paris is itself a clear signal. Avatr plans to officially enter the European market in 2027. Avatr 06T and 07L will land in Norway, Spain and other countries as the first batch of core products.

Currently, Avatr's overseas business has expanded to 70 countries and regions, the average selling price of products exceeds 300,000 RMB, and profitability has been achieved. In Egypt's high-end EV market, Avatr's market share reached 10%; Avatr 11 ranks first in sales in Thailand's luxury pure electric SUV market. According to the plan, in 2030 Avatr plans to enter over 110 countries and regions, overseas sales account for over 50% of total sales.
Choosing Paris as the global debut location for T09 reflects Avatr's emphasis on the European market. Europe is the birthplace and competitive arena for luxury cars, and also a touchstone for testing the quality of Chinese brand luxury. Facing traditional luxury brands with the "Emotional New Luxury" design philosophy, whether Avatr gains European users' recognition will directly affect the pace of its global strategy promotion.
Conclusion
The Paris debut of Avatr T09 demonstrates the continued investment of Chinese brands in original design. From 3D relief grilles to Vortex Emotional Vortices, T09's design language attempts to find a balance between the calm temperament of traditional luxury SUVs and the technological feel of the new energy era.
The three-party technology collaboration model also provides support for the product with Huawei smart driving, CATL batteries, and Changan manufacturing systems. Of course, whether the design highlights of the concept version can be fully retained on mass-produced cars, how the super hybrid system is accepted in the 500,000 RMB-class market, and the cognitive threshold of European users for Chinese luxury brands are all real topics T09 needs to face.
But at least from the current view, Avatr chose a differentiated path — using design to build identity, using technology to build trust, using globalization to open the ceiling. If this path is successfully walked, the significance for Chinese brands to break upward will be more than just one car.
