On October 11, the Avatr T09 Concept version completed its global debut in Paris. This new car is the inaugural work of the brand's flagship sequence, targeting the 500,000 RMB-level flagship luxury SUV market, built upon the combined technical strength of Changan, Huawei, and CATL, and is planned to officially launch within 2026.

The Paris Auto Show this year runs from October 12 to 18. The Avatr T09 Concept will participate alongside models such as Avatr 06T and Avatr 07L, showcasing the achievements of Chinese automakers in original design and intelligent technology on the international stage.

Avatr Technology Chairman Chen Zhuo introduced at the debut event that with the launch of the T09, Avatr will divide into two major product sequences: Digital and Flagship. The Digital sequence focuses on casual luxury, leaning towards an elegant and sporty avant-garde style. The Flagship sequence is positioned as supreme luxury, highlighting a noble and calm aura. Both product sequences adhere to original design. Avatr Technology Executive Vice President and Chief Designer Nader Faghihzadeh stated that the T09 Concept realizes the VISION XPECTRA concept car concept, expanding the design direction of "Supreme Luxury", which is consistent with the brand's core design philosophy of "Emotional New Luxury".
The new car takes "Emotional New Luxury" as its design core, with a highly recognizable appearance. The front face features an architectural styling, with a 3D relief grille composed of 362 brand LOGO elements of varying heights. A crystal diamond array light group with double-layer diamond cutting craftsmanship matches a 2.1㎡ clamshell front hood, creating a grand appearance. The side body lines are sharp, the curved waistline design enhances the sculptural feel, and the D-pillar aluminum trim plate creates a floating roof effect. The rear one-piece crystal diamond taillights echo the front light design, presenting rich light and shadow effects from different angles.

The T09 Concept creates a quiet and transparent space, equipped with the Vortex Emotional Vortex System. This lift mechanism houses 118 RGB light sources, features an anti-pinch design, and can link with the entire vehicle system to achieve emotional interaction. The interior is equipped with an immersive integrated triple-screen display, including a 10.25-inch driver instrument cluster and two 17.2-inch large screens, supporting NFC tap-to-connect connectivity.
In terms of hardware and intelligence, the T09 is the current model with the highest technology density at Avatr, equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving and Taihang Intelligent Control System. Powertrain adopts a 2.0T hybrid engine paired with a three-motor distributed electric drive, with a total system power exceeding 1,000 horsepower; equipped with a 71.24kWh CATL Xiaoyao Super Range-Extending Hybrid Battery, CLTC pure electric range up to over 400km.

Regarding overseas layout, Avatr plans to officially enter the European market in 2027. Currently, business has covered 70 countries and regions, with an average product price exceeding 300,000 RMB, and the brand has achieved profitability. Among them, Avatr's market share in Egypt's high-end electric vehicle market reaches 10%, and Avatr 11 took the first place in sales of luxury pure electric SUVs in Thailand. Avatr 06T and 07L will land in Norway and Spain first, accompanied by building localized service systems. According to planning, in 2030 the brand will enter over 110 countries and regions, with the target of overseas sales proportion exceeding 50%.
Editor's Summary: As domestic new energy brands break through upwards, more automakers choose to release flagship models at European auto shows, competing directly with traditional luxury brands on the same stage. The unveiling of the Avatr T09 Concept is not just the release of a new car, but also a concentrated display of Chinese new energy brands striving for the high-end luxury track and moving towards globalization. When Chinese automakers no longer rely solely on price-performance ratio to seize the market, but instead use original design and self-developed intelligent systems to create a luxury label, whether they can move European local consumers is also a direction worth continuous observation for the industry in the coming period.
