Chery Officially Announces: Fengyun T7 Full Series 600km Range, Pre-sale Starting from 109,900 RMB

Chery Fengyun T7 pre-sale price is out, 109,900 RMB to 129,900 RMB, 3 configurations. This starting price is lower than many anticipated. But the price itself is not the biggest highlight, more interesting is the range strategy — All series standard 600km CLTC range, no distinction between high or low trims, no need to pay extra to choose a larger battery pack. What do people buying 100,000 RMB level pure electric SUVs fear most? That is spending money to get only 400km range, feeling insecure about taking long trips. Fengyun T7 directly cures this heartache, the entry version is 600km.

3 configurations are Enjoy version 109,900 RMB, Comfort version 119,900 RMB, Smart version 129,900 RMB, price difference 10,000, batteries are all 65.05 kWh LFP Rhinox batteries. Motor 178kW rear-wheel drive, 275N·m, specs aren't violent but sufficient for home use. Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes about 20 minutes, recharge 300km in the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee, daily usage cost is very low. Suspension front MacPherson rear multi-link independent, rear-wheel drive layout is not common at this price point, handling is more flexible than front-wheel drive.
