SANY Completes Major Equipment Deliveries in South America and Thailand, Global Layout Continues to Expand

Shanghai, August 6, 2026 /PR Newswire/ -- Recently, SANY Group achieved two major breakthroughs in overseas markets successively, completing large-scale equipment delivery and signing in South America and Southeast Asia respectively. SANY Ocean Engineering signed a procurement agreement with Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) to supply 26 port equipment units to a container terminal in South America, including 6 quay cranes and 20 rubber-tyred gantry cranes. After SANY Ocean Engineering successfully signed the deal, SANY Heavy Industry delivered 40 SW970E electric loaders to the world's largest rice mill in Thailand.

From South American ports to Southeast Asian rice mills, these deliveries reflect SANY's continued investment in its overseas service network and its strategy of providing efficient and reliable equipment according to the operational needs of customers in different markets.

Large Port Equipment Orders Boost South American Port Operations Upgrade

These equipment units combine efficiency, safety, and sustainability, aiming to meet HGT's growing freight volume and changing customer demands. Dual Model Matrix Boosts Thai Rice Industry

Thailand produces over 20 million tons of milled rice annually, with export volumes consistently ranking in the top three globally. Rice mills have high dust levels, long continuous operation times, and high personnel density, imposing extremely stringent requirements on equipment environmental protection, low noise, and battery range. The batch-delivered SW970E was specifically designed for rice mill conditions, featuring long battery range, zero emissions, low noise, and high-grade protection.

Subsequently, customer representatives signed a procurement order for 50 SW956E electric loaders again. In the future, SW956E and SW970E will jointly undertake the full-process material handling tasks from primary processing to final packaging, while accelerating the promotion and application of electric equipment in Thailand's rice industry.
