This three-plus-hour real-world evaluation, switching between test scenarios such as urban congestion, highway cruising, and village road gravel, ultimately delivered a fuel consumption report of less than 5L per 100km.

It is worth noting that this domestic live stream was not an isolated marketing event. Prior to this, Beijing Off-road had completed cross-border long-distance road tests in collaboration with local automotive bloggers from five countries: South Africa, Poland, Indonesia, the UAE, and Mexico.

From tropical grasslands to Middle Eastern deserts, from European intercities to Southeast Asian rainy seasons, the field test data under different climate zones and road conditions formed the technical foundation of this fuel-saving challenge. The test route departed from the BAIC Blue Valley base, passed through the Capital Airport Expressway section, and finally entered the village roads and gravel surfaces around Yanqi Lake, covering five typical scenarios: urban congestion, highway cruising, rural national roads, unpaved mountain roads, and light off-roading. The live stream also set up 'Sealed Box Refueling' and 'Truth Moment' segments to present fuel consumption data in an open and transparent manner.

From the perspective of testing methods, this dual-loop system of 'overseas reliability verification and domestic fuel consumption field test' is more persuasive than single laboratory condition testing. Beijing Off-road stated that both the five overseas countries and the domestic live stream followed the GLTC Global Life Test Cycle and OLTC Off-road Life Test Cycle dual standards, attempting to strike a balance between standardization and real-world scenarios.

Tri-Motor HEV: The Fuel-Efficiency Equation with Motor-Priority Drive

The BJ30 Traveler's hybrid system adopts the 'Tri-Motor Six-Mode + Electric 4WD' architecture, making it the first boxy-shaped HEV hybrid model domestically.
