Struggling with whether to pay extra for the high spec when choosing a car — low spec lacks range and safety features, high spec exceeds budget. This car comes standard with 600km range and 9 airbags across the lineup; the base model is others' high spec.

In the 2026 100,000-level pure electric SUV market, 500km range has become mainstream, with 600km range continuously dropping. But 'standard range across the lineup' remains a rare practice. Meanwhile, many models cut corners on safety configurations to lower entry prices — 6 airbags reduced to 4, high-strength steel ratio shrinks, battery protection simplified. The reality consumers face is: visible prices are dropping, but invisible aspects are also dropping.

Fengyun T7's solution is direct: No reduced-spec entry version, unified standards across the lineup.

9 airbags standard across the lineup, 'class-jumping' safety for the 100,000 level

Safety configurations are the part of 100,000-level models most likely to be 'allocated as needed'. Cutting safety airbags in the entry version and reducing body steel strength is a common industry practice.

Fengyun T7 does things completely differently. The new car comes standard with 9 airbags across the lineup, including 2 front, 2 front side, 2 rear side, 2 side curtain, 1 far-end airbag. 9 airbags are the most in the same class, among which 48L dual-chamber far-end airbags and rear side airbags are very rare in 100,000-level models. Developed according to 2026 E-NCAP five-star safety standards, the body uses a nine-horizontal five-vertical cage structure, with high-strength steel accounting for 80%, and hot-formed steel accounting for 18.84%.

Vehicles at the same price level generally configure 6 airbags; Fengyun T7's 9 airbags are the most in the same class. More critically, these safety configurations are not layered by price — the entry version and top spec have no difference in safety.

Rock-solid Body + 6D Battery Protection, Safety as 'Redundancy' rather than 'Passing'

Fengyun T7's body structure is called 'Rock-solid Body'. The nine-horizontal five-vertical cage structure combined with shotgun structure (unique in class) increases force transmission paths, effectively dispersing impact energy in a collision. Double-frame subframe and Pack anti-collision beam (class-first launch) balance the whole vehicle anti-impact performance and battery bottom anti-bottoming and anti-squeezing dual needs.

Regarding battery safety, Rhino Battery adopts 6D lock-mechanism 31-layer protection structure. Waterproof rating reaches IP68, 96 times the national standard; side anti-squeeze ability reaches 200kN, 2 times the national standard. Meanwhile passed 1,008-hour salt spray test and 1.5 times national standard fire test.

Fengyun T7 also provides two 'bottom-line' rights: if the whole vehicle thermal runaway occurs due to power battery issues, compensate with a new car of the same model; if an accident occurs within one year of purchase due to intelligent driving assistance system reasons, compensate up to 5 million. Such 'bottom-line' commitments are very rare in 100,000-level models, reflecting the manufacturer's confidence in product safety from the side.

Goes Overseas First, Returns Home Later, 'Slow Craft' Polished Global Quality

Fengyun T7's R&D path is different from many domestic models. It is not domestic R&D, modified for export, but positioned from the very beginning as a 'Native Global Car' serving the global market.

3-year R&D cycle, relying on Chery's global '1+7+N' R&D system; global 10 major design centers, hundreds of designers collaborating; 5,000+ global user research, 15 typical countries in-depth visits; designed according to 2026 E-NCAP five-star safety standards, functional safety reaches ASIL-D highest level.

Verification stage is also 'redundant' — global synchronized investment in 81 durability test cars, whole vehicle cumulative test mileage over 6 million kilometers, durability special actual test 1.45 million kilometers. Verification environment covers from Nordic extreme cold (-40℃) to Middle East high heat (55℃) extreme temperature range, as well as Brazil high-deceleration curbs, Mexican cobblestone roads, German highway large curvature bends, etc., covering global 95% road type complex road conditions.

Homologous model Lepas L6 has already launched in Thailand, South Africa, and will gradually land EU, Australia, New Zealand, etc. markets. This 'overseas experience first, then return to domestic' path, makes Fengyun T7's quality already accepted the strict market's prior inspection before entering the domestic market.

100,000-level Market Needs 'Non-compromise' Choices

Users in the 100,000-level pure electric SUV market have much higher price sensitivity than the 300,000-level market. Spending another 5,000 might switch brands. But price sensitivity does not mean no requirements for quality — quite the opposite, users in this price range prefer every penny spent on the blade's edge.

Fengyun T7's approach is to spend money where it is invisible but critical: unified safety standards across the lineup, unified range capability across the lineup, global-level verification system. No high-low spec distinction treatment, do not split core capabilities into option packages.

For consumers with a budget of slightly over 100,000 wanting to buy a pure electric SUV, Fengyun T7 provides a 'non-compromise' choice — no need to pay extra for range, no need to compromise on safety, entry version can enjoy leading safety configuration and range capability in the same class.
