Development History

The founding of Guoxin New Energy can be traced back to Yancheng City's strategic layout for the new energy vehicle industry. On February 1, 2016, Jiangsu Guoxin New Energy Passenger Car Co., Ltd. was officially registered and established, jointly invested by Yancheng State-owned Assets Investment Group Co., Ltd. (Yancheng State-owned Assets Investment Group) and Jiangsu Aoxin New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. Jiangsu Aoxin's core team has more than 18 years of new energy vehicle R&D experience and 5 years of industrialization experience, possessing core technical capabilities such as vehicle control systems, vehicle integration, drive systems, and carbon fiber bodies.

In January 2019, Guoxin New Energy's 70,000-unit annual production carbon fiber lightweight pure electric passenger vehicle project was officially approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, with a total investment of 2.95 billion yuan. It became the first enterprise in Yancheng City to be approved for a pure electric passenger vehicle project. The company plans construction in two phases: Phase I adopts a carbon fiber composite thermosetting molding process, building an annual production capacity of 20,000 units; Phase II adopts a thermoplastic molding process, building an annual production capacity of 50,000 units. In the same year, the company built the country's first real "Green Intelligent Manufacturing" model factory that truly implements comprehensive lightweight innovation processes for new energy vehicles.

In June 2021, Guoxin New Energy's domestically first all-carbon fiber body pure electric passenger vehicle, independently developed and produced—the Guoxin Yike ET300—officially launched on the market for sale. The first batch of orders for 60 units were delivered to customers sequentially.

In February 2024, FAW Group acquired the passenger vehicle production qualifications of Jiangsu Guoxin New Energy Passenger Car Co., Ltd. and established the Yancheng Branch. It utilized Guoxin New Energy's No. 2 Factory land and buildings to build a 70,000-unit annual production pure electric passenger vehicle project. As of 2026, Guoxin New Energy's business registration status was "Open." Registered capital reached approximately 2.487 billion yuan, with 81 employees, and operational status remained stable.

Brand Matrix / Product Line

The Guoxin New Energy brand owns only one product series —Yike, all of which are pure electric sedan models. Main products are as follows:

Guoxin Yike ET300 — Guoxin New Energy's flagship product, the domestically first all-carbon fiber body pure electric passenger vehicle. This vehicle uses an all-carbon fiber composite body matched with an aluminum alloy chassis. It features a rational layout of battery and onboard range extender space and weight distribution. Whole vehicle weight is reduced by 30%-60% compared to similar models, effectively reducing energy consumption. The range can exceed 300 kilometers. After this vehicle successfully passed all inspections and officially launched for sale, the first batch of 60 units orders has been delivered to customers.

Yike Xin — Another compact pure electric sedan product under the brand, adopting a crossover style design between a hatchback and a station wagon. Vehicle dimensions are 4473/1822/1550mm, wheelbase 2710mm. It adopts a 5-seat layout. Externally, it features a unique trinary-headlight design extending downwards to become side vents, a sporty design. The rear uses a full-width LED light group and is equipped with dual spoilers. This vehicle is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 138kW, equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack. The energy storage cell units are produced by CALB Technology Co., Ltd. The assembly is provided by Shanghai Mochi Auto Technology Co., Ltd.

Except for the Yike series, the company's product line also has pure electric sedan and other models, and possesses production capabilities for key components such as battery packs, motor electronic control, and fuel cell systems.

Market Performance

Guoxin New Energy focuses on the pure electric passenger vehicle field, with product positioning targeting urban commuting and rental markets. After the Yike ET300 was launched, the company clarified its focus on individual users and rental markets. According to automotive industry data platforms, Guoxin New Energy vehicle sales were 4,884 units in January 2026, 19,167 units in December 2025, and 15,671 units in November 2025. As of May 2026, the sales of models currently on sale by the company still maintained a certain level of activity.

At the industrial level, Guoxin New Energy benefits from a strong state-owned capital background and resource support. Carbon Fiber Composite Body Technology: The company has built the country's first real "Green Intelligent Manufacturing" model factory that truly implements comprehensive lightweight innovation processes. It has mastered multiple molding processes for carbon fiber composite parts, including two complete technical routes: thermosetting molding and thermoplastic molding. An all-carbon fiber composite body reduces weight by 30%-60% compared to similar car bodies. It not only offers lightweight advantages but also possesses excellent corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance, greatly improving the vehicle's service life and safety.

All-Aluminum Chassis and Truss Structure Platform: The company independently developed an electric drive-exclusive truss structure drivable chassis platform with intellectual property rights. Adopting distributed drive technology, it realized the platformization and component modularization of new energy vehicle product systems. This platform supports technical means such as battery fast swapping, gradient use, and interchange borrowing, improving the safety and driving experience of electric vehicles.

This acquisition brought new development opportunities for Guoxin New Energy. Within the FAW Group system, Guoxin New Energy can rely on the channel resources and market experience of FAW Bestune and other independent brands to accelerate product implementation and scale expansion. FAW Bestune introduced Yancheng Yueda Group as a strategic investor in 2023, and the synergy effect of both parties in the new energy field is expected to be further released.

At the technical level, Guoxin New Energy is actively promoting the development of "C-Class Vehicle Platform" series models. It continues to deepen the integration of carbon fiber lightweight and intelligent technologies.
