廣汽 Aion UT combines city-friendly dimensions with versatile cabin space

At 4.27 metres long, the five-door hatchback has a city-friendly footprint, while its 1.85-metre width gives it a planted stance. The rounded body, smooth front end and neatly integrated lighting create a clean, modern look, with 17-inch alloy wheels adding visual balance without overwhelming the compact proportions.

The cabin has a simple, screen-led layout built around a 14.6-inch central display and an 8.8-inch digital instrument panel. Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging and Bluetooth cover the daily connectivity essentials, while powered front seats, front-seat ventilation and rear air vents make the Premium trim particularly useful in Hong Kong’s warm climate. The fixed panoramic glass roof also gives the interior a more open visual character.

A front-mounted motor producing 150kW and 210Nm gives the Aion UT credible everyday performance, backed by an official 0–100km/h time of 7.3 seconds. That output is well suited to joining faster roads and completing overtaking manoeuvres, while the single-speed transmission keeps power delivery straightforward. Charging options include 87kW DC fast charging and 6.6kW standard charging.

The 2,750mm wheelbase provides a solid packaging basis for the five-seat cabin without making the car cumbersome for urban use. A 440-litre luggage compartment handles routine shopping and family gear, while expansion to 1,600 litres gives the hatchback useful flexibility for bulkier items. Rear-seat air vents further improve the cabin’s suitability for regular family travel.

The safety package combines stability and traction control with tyre-pressure monitoring, lane-keeping assistance and autonomous emergency braking. Front airbags, front side airbags and side curtain airbags provide protection across both seating rows, while ISOFIX mounting points make fitting a child seat more convenient. These systems are supported by front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and blind-spot assistance for tighter urban situations.

The official 500km NEDC driving range gives this pure-electric hatchback useful flexibility for commuting and longer journeys between charging stops. As an NEDC rating, it is best treated as a standardised reference figure, with actual distance varying according to traffic, speed, weather and air-conditioning use.
