Voyah Intelligent Luxury Tour kicks off in Wuhan, bringing overseas media closer to China's EV industry

The VOYAH Intelligent Luxury Tour kicked off in Wuhan on 21 September, bringing together media representatives from Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as media from Hong Kong and Macau.

The media group visited VOYAH's smart factory and experienced its latest premium new energy models, including the VOYAH DREAM 9, getting a closer look at the brand's manufacturing and technology capabilities.

The media group visited the VOYAH Golden Factory in Wuhan, where it got a closer look at the factory's flexible production lines.

The factory uses technologies including 5G, big data and AI to support customised, digital and flexible production. It can build different types of vehicles, including sedans, MPVs and SUVs, on the same production line using mixed-model production.

The Golden Factory and VOYAH's Yunfeng Factory now operate together, giving VOYAH a combined annual production capacity of 450,000 vehicles. The two factories can produce a vehicle every 40 seconds.

The group also visited the VOYAH Huangjinkou All-Functional User Centre, where it experienced the brand's premium customer services.

Covering more than 30,000 square metres, the facility is VOYAH's largest flagship store in China. It brings together new-car displays, customisation, brand experiences, after-sales service and ultra-fast charging, covering the customer journey from choosing and buying a car to long-term ownership.

Since its launch, VOYAH has focused on in-house development of electric powertrains, chassis systems, intelligent cockpits, intelligent driving and vehicle manufacturing.

This has given it control across the full value chain, while its product range now covers SUVs, MPVs and sedans. VOYAH says its vehicles have earned the trust of more than 400,000 users worldwide.

During the event, the media group experienced several models, including the Voyah Dream 9, Voyah Passion S and Voyah Taishan X8.

The main attraction of the event was the Voyah Dream 9, the brand's new flagship MPV. The Dream 9 is scheduled for its global launch on the evening of 22 September.

The new MPV combines Eastern design with modern intelligent technology, positioning it as a flagship model for a new generation of premium MPVs.

It has already attracted strong interest ahead of its launch. Within just 48 hours of opening bookings, pre-orders exceeded 30,000 units.

More than 50% of those orders were for the top-spec Lizun Edition, while more than 20,000 existing Voyah owners had placed orders to replace or upgrade their current vehicles.
