KGM Musso returns to Hong Kong with electric and diesel versions – early-bird prices start at HK$249,000

KGM has brought the new Musso pickup back to Hong Kong, offering buyers a choice of fully electric and diesel powertrains. The electric Musso EV starts at an early-bird price of HK$299,000, while the diesel-powered Musso is available from HK$249,000 under the launch offer.

As a rugged pickup for both work and leisure, the new Musso range combines off-road styling with different powertrain options to suit a wider range of needs. The Musso EV is KGM's electric pickup developed for global markets, while the diesel range retains a conventional powertrain and offers two body lengths.

Musso EV

Developed from the earlier O100 concept, the Musso EV shares design cues with the Torres EVX SUV. It is offered with front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, with an electric motor producing up to 174.5kW. The 4WD version delivers up to 629.5Nm of torque, providing additional traction for more demanding terrain.

The battery is an 80.6kWh LFP Blade Battery supplied by BYD. The front-wheel-drive version has a claimed range of up to 419km, and the vehicle also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) external power supply.

Inside, the Musso EV features dual 12.3-inch displays for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Buyers can also choose from a range of practical accessories, including a tonneau cover, sliding cargo bed and protective rails, allowing the pickup to be configured for different uses.

KGM has also indicated that a special-edition version will be introduced specifically for the Hong Kong market, with further details yet to be announced.

Diesel Musso

The diesel range consists of the standard Musso and the longer Musso Grand. The standard model measures 5,150mm in length, while the Musso Grand stretches to 5,460mm, offering buyers a choice of body size.

Both follow KGM's 'Powered by Toughness' design philosophy, with a robust pickup profile complemented by modern styling. Full LED headlights and rear lights are fitted as standard.

Power comes from a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing more than 187PS, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is also available.
