GAC Group has released its production and sales figures for July, with overall performance continuing to improve. New energy vehicles (NEVs) and exports of its own-brand models remained the key growth drivers.
In the first seven months of the year, GAC sold more than 886,000 vehicles, up 1.28% year-on-year. NEV sales continued to surge, reaching 311,700 units, a 66.20% increase from the same period last year.
Electrified models, including NEVs and energy-efficient vehicles, accounted for 63.96% of the group's total sales, highlighting the steady progress of its electrification strategy.
The group's own-brand export business delivered the strongest growth. Exports reached 145,000 units between January and July, up 130% year-on-year, already surpassing its total export volume for the whole of 2025. In July alone, own-brand exports climbed to 23,575 units, an increase of 119% compared with a year earlier.
Several GAC brands also recorded encouraging results. AION and Hyptec sold 210,400 vehicles in the first seven months, representing 62.08% year-on-year growth. July sales reached 28,807 units, up 36.37% from the same month last year. During the month, AION also expanded its EV line-up with the debut of the all-new Ray series.
GAC Trumpchi maintained steady growth, recording more than 187,100 units from January to July, up 9.83% year-on-year. July sales stood at 22,739 units.
Meanwhile, AISTALAND (Qijing), GAC's premium intelligent EV brand developed in partnership with Huawei Qiankun, officially began deliveries of its first model, the AISTALAND GT7, in July after its launch at the end of June. The model recorded 2,658 deliveries in its first full month on the market, suggesting a positive early response from customers.
Among GAC's joint-venture operations, GAC Toyota remained the volume leader, with cumulative sales exceeding 402,500 units in the first seven months of the year. July sales reached 46,500 units. GAC Honda delivered 11,686 vehicles, maintaining a stable performance during the month.
