iCAUR has announced the new V25, the third model in its V-series, will make its first public appearance in Chengdu on 14 August, where visitors will get a chance to see the car up close.
Following the V23, the V25 retains the series' distinctive boxy styling while bringing updates to the powertrain, intelligent driving technology and cabin.
The iCAUR V25 sticks with the V-series' familiar boxy design, featuring straight, squared-off lines and the signature round headlights.

Up front, the V25 gets a new open grille, while the sides feature newly designed blind panels and cleaner body lines. The wheels also use a low-drag design to improve aerodynamic efficiency without compromising the overall look.
At the rear, the familiar externally mounted spare wheel remains, but the sharper edges have been toned down for a cleaner appearance. Finished in silver, the V25 looks more refined and modern than the V23.

The V25 also gets upgrades to its cabin and driver assistance technology. Its regulatory filing shows that LiDAR will be available as an option.
For reference, the V27 uses iCAUR's Falcon intelligent driving system, powered by a Horizon Journey 6-series high-computing chip and a single-stage end-to-end architecture. The V25 is expected to use the same system, although iCAUR has yet to confirm the details.
If that proves to be the case, the V25 could offer features such as highway navigation assistance, urban driving assistance and automated parking, putting it among the more advanced models in its price range.

The iCAUR V25 measures 4,636 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width and 1,855 mm in height, including the rear-mounted spare wheel. It has a 2,820 mm wheelbase.
The V25 also has a 28-degree approach angle and 24-degree departure angle, with 19- and 21-inch wheels available. These figures should give it decent clearance and capability when the road gets rough.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged range-extender system, with a claimed WLTC combined fuel consumption of 1.52 litres per 100km. The setup is designed to keep running costs low in everyday driving while providing the range needed for longer journeys.
With the V25 joining the V23 and V27, iCAUR's V-series now has a broader line-up, giving buyers another option in the growing range-extender SUV segment.
