Chery Launches Aggressive French Offensive, Taking on "National Favourite" Dacia

Following the debut of its sub-brand OMODA | JAECOO in France in the first half of this year, Chery has officially rolled out its core marque locally from September, further expanding its European footprint.

Tiggo Line-up Opens for Orders in September, Priced from €26,990

From 1 September, the Tiggo SUV range officially became available for order in France. The entry-level Tiggo 7 HEV starts at €26,990, with the PHEV version priced from €32,490, while the Tiggo 8 PHEV kicks off at €38,990.

Aggressive Pricing Targets Top-spec Dacia Bigster

In terms of pricing, both models boast immense competitiveness locally. The Tiggo 7 HEV takes aim directly at the high-spec segment of France's "national hero car", the Dacia Bigster (priced at around €24,000 to €30,000), offering superior horsepower and tech equipment to punch well above its weight. Meanwhile, the Tiggo 8 has been hailed by local motoring media as the "best-value 7-seater plug-in hybrid SUV on the market".

56 Outlets Established in Six Months, Aiming for Over 90 by Year-End

Regarding dealership network expansion, Chery currently operates 56 sales and service touchpoints across France, with plans to expand to over 90 outlets by the end of this year, steadily broadening its market coverage.
