BYD has unveiled official images of its all-new flagship D-segment sedan, the Great Han (Da Han/大汉).
According to the company, this new top-of-the-range model from the Dynasty series will make its official debut at the Chengdu Motor Show, which opens on 21 August.

Design-wise, the Great Han continues BYD's signature Dragon Face design language. The front end adopts a low-slung, streamlined profile, combining a sporty character with a strong sense of premium presence.
Details visible on the roof confirm the presence of a LiDAR sensor, indicating that the new model will be equipped with BYD's latest intelligent driving assistance system.

The Great Han features a sleek and flowing side profile, creating an elegant and commanding stance. At the rear, the wide-body design gives the car a planted, muscular appearance with strong visual presence.
In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 5,256 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width and 1,510 mm in height, with a 3,130 mm wheelbase, promising generous interior space.

In terms of powertrain, the Great Han will be offered in both battery-electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants, catering to both everyday commuting and long-distance travel.
It comes standard with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology, delivering both impressive driving range and rapid charging performance. The all-wheel-drive variant offers a CLTC range of up to 880 km, while the rear-wheel-drive version extends this to 1,008 km.
