Dongfeng eπ M8 Officially Launched in China's Mainland, from RMB 169,800

The Dongfeng eπ M8 has officially gone on sale in China. As part of its launch promotion, the model is offered at a limited-time trade-in price ranging from RMB 169,800 to RMB 209,800, representing a RMB 10,000 reduction from its official list prices. Buyers can choose from five variants.

The all-new Dongfeng eπ M8 embodies the brand's "Less is More, Beauty in Simplicity" design philosophy, combining clean, understated styling with a strong sense of premium presence.

At the front, the SUV adopts a split-headlamp design, featuring a full-width LED light bar across the upper section, while the lower lighting units are seamlessly integrated with the full-width lower grille to create a wider, more layered visual appearance. The lower headlamp units also incorporate dedicated blue intelligent driving indicator lights, giving the M8 a highly distinctive identity.

Further reinforcing its technological credentials, the roof is equipped with a LiDAR sensor, supporting Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

For body colours, the new model is available in five elegant shades: Mist Purple, Distant Mountain Blue, Moonlight Silver, Frost White, and Obsidian Black, offering a diverse range of styles to suit different tastes.

The side profile features the popular floating roof design paired with semi-hidden door handles. In terms of dimensions, the new MPV measures 5,020mm in length, 1,975mm in width, and 1,733mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,025mm. It adopts a six-seater layout, offering a highly spacious and comfortable cabin. The rear end is also fitted with a trendy full-width taillight cluster, completing a well-proportioned and timeless design.

The cabin is designed around the core concepts of minimalist luxury, smart interaction, and a spacious six-seater configuration. High-quality soft-touch materials cover most surfaces, complemented by a multi-screen connectivity system and premium comfort amenities. Adopting a standard 2+2+2 six-seat layout, the vehicle is packed with premium features including a 50-inch AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display), a two-way intelligent hot/cold storage box, a new fresh air system, dual first-class aircraft-style seats, dual large screens, and a velvet panoramic sunroof, ensuring an outstanding passenger experience.

On the tech and safety front, the eπ M8 is equipped with the in-cabin Limera laser-vision system. Utilising an all-solid-state LiDAR architecture, the system is highly resistant to dirt and debris, significantly enhancing its ability to detect small obstacles. As for the battery, the new model features Dongfeng's industry-first 16,000T integrated die-cast battery pack, alongside the Golden Shield battery co-developed with CATL. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform and supporting 4C ultra-fast charging, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 17 minutes.

In terms of powertrains, the eπ M8 offers a choice between pure electric (BEV) and range-extended electric vehicle (EREV) versions. The BEV version features an 800V high-voltage architecture, delivering a CLTC range of 600 km. The EREV version is powered by a Mach Power 1.5T range extender and supports 4C ultra-fast charging, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 300 km and an impressive combined range of up to 1,281 km, making it perfect for both daily commutes and long-distance road trips.
