Mercedes-AMG GLC 53 4MATIC+ SUV and Coupé Open for Booking in Hong Kong, Priced from HK$1,067,000

Mercedes-Benz has officially opened order books for the all-new GLC 53 4MATIC+ SUV and GLC 53 4MATIC+ Coupé. The SUV is priced from HK$1,067,000, while the Coupé starts at HK$1,113,000.

The new model is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six turbocharged engine featuring an exhaust-driven turbocharger and an electric auxiliary compressor. This twin-boost system is designed to minimise the turbo lag typically associated with larger turbochargers.

The engine delivers 449 PS and 600 Nm of torque under normal conditions. With the Overboost mode activated, torque surges to 640 Nm for up to 10 seconds. Supplemented by an additional 23 PS and 205 Nm from the ISG motor, the vehicle sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

Power is sent via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G nine-speed automatic gearbox. Combined with the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, torque is dynamically distributed between the front and rear axles based on road conditions and the selected driving mode for optimum traction and handling.

For drivers seeking even greater performance, the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package is available as an option—a first for an AMG SUV model. It includes an electronically controlled rear-axle limited-slip differential and a Drift Mode. When paired with the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping, it delivers even more agile and engaging handling.
