Toyota releases teaser for updated Crown Crossover ahead of mid-September market launch

Toyota has teased the refreshed Crown Crossover ahead of its scheduled Japanese market launch this September.

The current-generation Crown family made its initial debut in July 2022 and stands out as the most aggressive and radical iteration in the nameplate's long history. This shift is highlighted by the brand's decision to split the lineup into four distinct body styles: the Crossover, which blends traditional sedan traits with high-riding SUV attributes; the performance-oriented Sport; the highly practical and spacious Estate; and the standard Sedan, which preserves the traditional flagship luxury aesthetics of the lineage.

It remains to be seen whether Toyota's internal product planning has already scheduled similar mid-cycle updates for the remaining three variants in the near future.
