BYD officially unveils all-new Qin Max sedan with advanced flash-charging technology

BYD has officially unveiled teaser images for the all-new B-segment flash-charging sedan from its Dynasty series — the Qin MAX. Packing the brand's latest core technologies, including the God's Eye B Advanced Intelligent Driving Assistance System, second-generation Blade Battery, and fast-charging capabilities, the model boasts a comprehensive upgrade in overall competitiveness.

In terms of exterior design, the Qin MAX retains the brand's signature Dragon Face aesthetic. The front end adopts a low, aggressive stance, projecting a dynamic forward-thrusting presence with sleek, muscular lines that deliver strong visual impact. Moving away from the common full-width horizontal light bars and complex headlight designs, the new model features sharp, sweeping headlight clusters with high recognisability. The official teaser shots reveal a youthful, fashion-forward purple paint finish, giving the car a fresh and modern look.

The rear design is equally impressive, featuring a full-width taillight bar with elegant ribbon-like lighting effects integrated into the cluster. The central section houses the BYD badge, which supports an illumination function to significantly enhance brand visibility from the rear. In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle measures 4,866mm in length, 1,880mm in width, and 1,495mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820mm, fitting the standard B-segment sedan profile with promising interior space.

Intelligent configuration is a key selling point of the Qin MAX, featuring a LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof and powered by the God's Eye B Intelligent Driving Assistance System. With BYD's implementation of dual safety protocols for city navigation and intelligent parking, the practicality and stability of this driving assistance system have been significantly enhanced, offering a more comprehensive and secure driving experience on daily roads.

Regarding powertrain options, the new model is available in both pure electric and REEV plug-in hybrid versions to cater to diverse user needs. The plug-in hybrid variant is equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a maximum engine output of 74kW and a peak electric motor output of 175kW. Additionally, the vehicle is fully fitted with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and supports fast-charging technology, effectively balancing driving range, safety, and charging efficiency.
