XPeng Motors enters Kai Tak AIRSIDE, opening Hong Kong's first flagship SI 3.0 technology experience centre

Far more than a conventional car showroom, it marks XPeng's first retail point outside China's Mainland to adopt the brand's highest-specification SI 3.0 experience standards. Simultaneously, the site functions as the brand's first official technology center outside the mainland, featuring a comprehensive, top-tier operational specification that highlights XPeng's commitment to Hong Kong.

From a local market strategy perspective, this launch precisely targets the premium consumer segment within the Kai Tak district. As Hong Kong's next-generation core business district (CBD 2.0), Kai Tak focuses heavily on green urban planning and smart community development. This positioning aligns perfectly with XPeng's core brand philosophy of smart mobility and intelligent electric vehicles, creating a natural synergy with the area's tech-savvy and young professionals.

The primary highlight of the new AIRSIDE facility is the fully upgraded SI 3.0 experience standard. Unlike traditional automotive showrooms that restrict services to basic vehicle viewing, price enquiries, and test drives, the SI 3.0 architectural space blends the concepts of a technology pavilion and a futuristic lifestyle gallery, shattering conventional automotive retail boundaries.

The showroom boasts a minimalist, avant-garde design with futuristic spatial lines, complemented by diverse interactive installations showcasing XPeng's Physical AI achievements. Highlights include dedicated semiconductor display cases, chip exhibition frames, and a physical model of the new-generation hybrid silicon carbide coaxial electric drive motor. Interactive vertical pillar screens are also installed, allowing visitors to engage in direct voice interactions with the AI assistant, Xiao P.

Regarding the model lineup, XPeng presents three high-profile models in the AIRSIDE outdoor plaza: the highly anticipated all-electric sports coupe P7 Ultra, the flagship luxury LSUV GX, and the newly unveiled L03, which previously attracted significant attention at the Beijing Auto Show.

When purchasing EVs, Hong Kong drivers prioritise after-sales service and charging infrastructure, both of which are critical to the daily ownership experience. Acknowledging these local demands, XPeng has partnered with KINETA, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Group, to establish the second dual-brand co-branded charging station in Hong Kong at the B3 basement level of AIRSIDE.

Equipped with four fast-charging bays featuring the CCS2 European standard interface widely used in Hong Kong, the station delivers a maximum charging power of up to 360kW for exceptional efficiency. Owners can use the KINETA Charge app to check real-time station locations, bay availability, and charging progress. The charging station caters not only to XPeng owners but also supports most CCS2-standard EVs on the market.
