Voyah Dream 9 official images revealed: Flagship luxury MPV blends advanced technology with Chinese design

Voyah has officially released the real-life images of its all-new model, the Dream 9.

Positioned as a premium, RMB 500,000-class smart luxury MPV, it stands as the world's first MPV to adopt a Level 3 autonomous driving architecture. The flagship model debuts with a suite of 12 cutting-edge technologies, showcases a luxury design rooted deeply in Eastern aesthetics, and distinguishes itself as the first MPV equipped with an electrically deployable crystal hood ornament.

The images reveal that the new model places Chinese design philosophy at the core of its styling identity. Through two signature elements — the electrically deployable crystal hood ornament and a full-width gilded waistline — complemented by classic Eastern motifs such as a dragon-scale grille and Big Dipper starlight headlamps, the vehicle seamlessly integrates a sense of exclusive, regal ceremony and auspicious tradition into every exterior detail.

The front fascia features a "soaring upward" dragon-scale layered vertical chrome grille. Its distinct textural layers draw inspiration from traditional Chinese armour, projecting an imposing and powerful road presence. The hood-mounted, electrically illuminated crystal ornament serves as the visual centerpiece of the vehicle. The crystal itself is meticulously finished with a 2,520-facet diamond optical cut, delivering exceptional clarity and exquisite craftsmanship.

Upon unlocking and starting the vehicle, the ornament automatically rises; once locked and the engine is shut down, it retracts and hides flush with the bodywork. This ascending and descending motion subtly embodies the auspicious meaning of "soaring upward towards a promising future," while maintaining a reserved and sophisticated demeanour. It replicates the exclusive greeting etiquette traditionally reserved for ultra-luxury vehicles, serving as a core symbol of the owner's prestige.

The side profile features a one-piece gilded trim waistline extending straight from the front fender to the rear, complemented by a stately two-tone body colour scheme. The design inspiration stems from the traditional Chinese craftsmanship of gilded trim on ceremonial objects, symbolising a smooth journey and stable driving, while also effectively elongating the vehicle's visual proportions to enhance its overall sleek and elegant appearance.

The manufacturer has officially positioned the new model as the "9-Series Smart Prestige" flagship variant. The numeral "9" represents its top-tier flagship positioning and pinnacle manufacturing standards; "Smart" denotes cutting-edge intelligent features such as the Level 3 autonomous driving system; and "Prestige" signifies a premium luxury cabin paired with an exclusive, honoured passenger experience. Together, these three pillars form the core product identity of the Dream 9 flagship luxury MPV.
