MG 07 with 840km Pure-Electric Range to Commence Pre-Sales in China's Mainland

SAIC MG has recently announced that its latest model, the MG 07, will commence pre-sales in China's mainland on 29 July. Combining a striking exterior design, top-tier intelligent technology, powerful performance, and an exceptional driving range, the MG 07 serves as a flagship release for the brand, with specifications fully aligned with current high-end consumer demands for electric vehicles.

In terms of styling, the MG 07 adopts the classic fastback silhouette of a pure-electric coupé, complemented by an integrated clamshell bonnet, a split floating headlamp cluster with curved surfaces, and an active air intake grille, exuding a distinct new-energy vehicle aura. The model is available in six exterior paint finishes: Morello Purple, Nottingham Grey, Oxford Blue, Millia Pink, California Blue, and Salt Lake White.

The front of the vehicle is equipped with a 168-litre automated frunk that opens with a simple tap, delivering exceptional practicality. The side profile features sleek, flowing lines, standard fitment of frameless four-door windows, aerodynamic side air channels on the wings, and sporty side skirts, creating a full sports-car ambiance. For the wheels, two 19-inch exclusive alloy rim designs are offered, paired with yellow brake callipers to enhance the car's sporty character.

Regarding dimensions, the new car measures 4,886mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,485mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,825mm, ensuring harmonious and elegant proportions. The rear features a one-piece full-width taillight bar, a five-position adjustable powered spoiler, a powered tailgate, and a rear diffuser surround, creating a highly aggressive track-inspired presence.

The cabin adopts MG's latest design language, available in two high-quality interior colour schemes: White Violet and Royal Blue. The centre console houses a 15.6-inch 2.5K HD display powered by the flagship 8295P in-vehicle processor, supporting comprehensive voice and touch interactions to ensure a seamless and highly intelligent user experience.

Comfort features are extensively included, with the front and rear seats equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Additional amenities include a panoramic glass roof, a dedicated vanity mirror for the front passenger, and a zero-gravity "Queen's Seat" for the front passenger. The audio system features 21 speakers arranged in a 7.1.4-channel surround-sound configuration.

When it comes to intelligent driving tech, the MG 07 is equipped with the Momenta R7 world model, complemented by a dedicated Xheart X7 large model chip, enhancing the precision and capability of its driver-assistance functions. The chassis features mCDC intelligent electromagnetic suspension, capable of performing 200 micro-adjustments per second. Paired with an AI preview system, it can proactively detect road conditions from 15 to 150 metres ahead, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride whether on highways or winding roads.
