XPeng Debuts All-New MONA L03 for Pre-Sale; Global Launch Set for Munich on July 16

XPeng's all-new MONA L03 recently made its debut in mainland China, opening pre-sales at a price range of RMB 143,800 to RMB 165,800. The vehicle will officially launch at a global event in Munich on July 16, where comprehensive details will be revealed to the worldwide market.

Visually, the MONA L03 carries forward the signature design language of the XPeng MONA range. The front fascia is fitted with a classic "Starship" lighting cluster featuring 400 LED units, delivering high recognisability when illuminated. The hood features sculpted, raised lines that create a muscular and dynamic stance.

Customers can choose from a diverse palette of elegant exterior colors, including Midnight Black, Crescent Silver, Twilight Purple, Eucalyptus Grey, Aurora Purple, and Dark Plum.

The side profile presents a sleek fastback silhouette, complemented by semi-recessed door handles that optimise aerodynamics while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. Wheel options come in 18-inch and 20-inch specifications, paired with prominent yellow brake calipers to emphasise its sporty character.

Dimensionally, the vehicle measures 4,650 (4,672) mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a 2,850 mm wheelbase that ensures a spacious cabin. Notably, the MONA L03 boasts an exceptionally low drag coefficient of 0.228—a class-leading figure that significantly enhances driving efficiency and range.

At the rear, signature full-width "Star Ring" taillights incorporate 288 LED units and integrate a dedicated blue indicator for assisted driving functions. This is further accented by a sculpted rear spoiler and a bespoke rear bumper that maximise the overall sporty ambiance.

For intelligent driving, the MONA L03 is equipped with the second-generation VLA pure vision assisted driving system, powered by a Turing chip delivering up to 1,500 TOPS of computing power. This setup provides robust processing support for intelligent travel and driver assistance, elevating safety and convenience.

The cabin adopts XPeng's latest family-style design, exuding a premium atmosphere with 256-color wraparound ambient lighting. The centre console houses a 15.6-inch floating infotainment screen, paired with a sports steering wheel featuring dual-satellite buttons and a 26.8-inch high-definition W-HUD display. Hidden air vents further enhance the visual simplicity and luxury of the interior.

Running the Tianji AIOS 6.2.0 intelligent cockpit system for smooth and intuitive operation, the vehicle is also fitted with 14-point massage zero-gravity front passenger seats and a 20-speaker AI sound system.

The new model offers two powertrain configurations to cater to diverse user requirements:

Pure Battery-Electric Variant: Delivers a maximum CLTC range of 625 km with a combined energy consumption of merely 11.9 kWh per 100 km. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 6.6 seconds.

Super Extended-Range (EREV) Variant: Tailored for long-distance travel, this version offers a maximum CLTC combined range of 1,330 km to effectively eliminate range anxiety. It posts a combined WLTC fuel consumption of just 5.16 litres per 100 km and completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.8 seconds.
