CATL has officially announced a global strategic partnership with GALBOT. At the core of this collaboration is the Galbot S1 developed by GALBOT. It is the world's first heavy-duty humanoid robot powered by CATL batteries that can perform regular intelligent operations.

The Galbot S1 boasts impressive hardware specifications. Equipped with dual arms that can lift loads up to 50 kg, it utilises pure vision technology to achieve centimetre-level precision positioning and supports 360-degree omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, striking an excellent balance between agility and stability. Powered by CATL's specially optimised battery cells, the robot maintains an ultra-low failure rate at the parts-per-billion (PPB) level, significantly enhancing both safety and service life while enabling up to eight hours of continuous operation.

The Galbot S1 has already been deployed to CATL's intelligent production lines. It is primarily responsible for physically demanding and repetitive tasks, such as material handling and order picking during battery module and pack assembly. By replacing manual labor for heavy lifting, it effectively reduces the workload of front-line staff.
Looking ahead, both companies will continue to deepen their collaboration in the smart industrial sector. They aim to accelerate the adoption and large-scale application of humanoid robots in the global market. They also intend to jointly establish the world's first after-sales service standards for humanoid robots to guide the disciplined development of the industry.
