Zhang Zhuo, General Manager of BYD Ocean Series Sales Division, recently shared official interior images of the new Seal 08 on social media, unveiling the cabin design and key configuration highlights of this pure-electric flagship model.

The Seal 08 features the newly upgraded Ocean Aesthetics 2.0 wraparound cockpit, characterised by a clean and grand layout. The interior is equipped with a large floating central screen, a digital instrument cluster, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The front seats also support wireless smartphone charging.

The cabin adopts smooth horizontal curves that flow across the dashboard and door panels, combined with a multi-layered three-dimensional structure to create a spacious and open visual effect. Notably, the new model abandons traditional piano lacquer trim panels that are prone to fingerprint marks.

The entire dashboard, door panels, and centre console are covered in Nappa leather and soft-touch materials. The centre console and inner door panels feature meticulously polished mother-of-pearl decorative inlays, which display a warm, gem-like pearlescent sheen under lighting, adding a refined and luxurious touch. Additionally, the cabin extensively utilises low-VOC, environmentally friendly, and low-carbon materials to eliminate interior odours at the source and enhance passenger health and comfort.

The Seal 08 is built on BYD's 800V high-voltage platform and equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery. It integrates multiple cutting-edge technologies, including Super Fast Charging, rear-wheel steering, and the DiSus-A system. The pure-electric range reaches up to 900 kilometres, while a mere five-minute charge can replenish up to 400 kilometres of range, showcasing exceptional fast-charging performance.
