5-Minute Charge Adds 150km Range: Denza N8L Flash-Charging Edition Officially Launched

On June 23, Denza officially launched the new N8L Flash-Charging Edition in China's mainland. Two variants are available, priced between CNY 319,800 and CNY 349,800. The new model adopts an 800V high-voltage fast-charging architecture and the second-generation Blade Battery, delivering comprehensive upgrades in charging efficiency and overall performance.

The new N8L Flash-Charging Edition retains Denza's signature family design language, featuring a closed front grille typical of electric vehicles and a full-width matrix LED daytime running light strip. The split headlight design enhances the vehicle's horizontal visual width, presenting a stable and dignified appearance.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,200mm in length, 1,999mm in width, and 1,820mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,075mm, ensuring a spacious and comfortable interior. A new dual-tone “Danxia Ink” paint option is available, featuring a red body paired with a black roof.

All trims come standard with the DiPilot 5.0 advanced driver assistance system, powered by a single NVIDIA Orin-X chip delivering up to 254 TOPS of computing power. The hardware suite includes one LiDAR and a total of 30 sensors (12 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 5 millimetre-wave radars).

Intelligent features cover Highway Navigation Pilot, Urban Navigation Pilot, full-scenario automated parking, and automatic lane changes. The system also includes official backup protection for city intelligent driving, providing greater safety and confidence in various road conditions.

The rear features a 3D continuous taillight design and hands-free power tailgate. The body utilises a high-strength cage structure with 2000MPa hot-formed steel, complemented by nine airbags and the e³ stability control system. This system can stabilise the vehicle during high-speed tyre blowouts, mitigate crosswind effects, and maintain stability on slippery roads.

The interior is equipped with a 50-inch AR-HUD, a 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, a 13.2-inch passenger entertainment screen, a 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen, and a 9-inch digital rearview mirror. The system supports multi-screen interconnectivity and continuous voice control for a top-tier intelligent experience.

The new N8L Flash-Charging Edition is built on the 800V high-voltage platform and features a 75.26kWh second-generation Blade Battery. It is powered by a 2.0T plug-in hybrid engine combined with a tri-motor hybrid system. The engine produces a maximum output of 152kW, while the combined system output reaches 560kW, enabling 0–100km/h acceleration in the 3-second range.

In terms of range, the CLTC electric range is 430km, with a combined range of up to 1,550km when fully fuelled and charged. Charging performance is outstanding: using BYD's dedicated fast-charging pile, the battery can charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes (adding approximately 150km of range), and from 10% to 97% in only 9 minutes.
