The Jaecoo J5, which officially went on sale in March this year, makes its appearance at the Hong Kong Auto Expo.

In terms of exterior design, the new car's detailing is somewhat inspired by the Range Rover, but the overall look is more rounded and streamlined. Body dimensions are 4,380mm in length, 1,860mm in width, and 1,650mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm.

Inside, the new car's design is dominated by straight lines, with buttons placed in a highly logical layout. One of the key selling points of this model is its comprehensive feature set, including an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch vertical central touchscreen, double-layer sound-insulating glass for the front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, a 540-degree parking camera system, ambient lighting, and more. The vehicle also features a one-touch pet mode that keeps power on while intelligently controlling cabin temperature. Additionally, the seats are upholstered in specially developed PU material that is both antimicrobial and wear-resistant, making it particularly user-friendly for pet owners.

Regarding powertrain, the Jaecoo J5 is equipped with a front-mounted single motor delivering 211 horsepower and a maximum torque of 288 Nm. A 58.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery provides a WLTP range of 402 km. In fast-charging mode, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 28 minutes, and the vehicle also supports V2L (vehicle-to-load) functionality.
