Dongfeng Showcases All-New Yijing X9 Flagship SUV at 2026 Hong Kong Auto Expo

At this year’s Hong Kong Auto Expo, Dongfeng officially showcased the all-new Yijing X9, its first flagship large six-seater SUV. The vehicle is comprehensively equipped with Huawei’s latest Kunlun Full-Stack Technology Solution, integrating Huawei Kunlun Intelligent Driving ADS, intelligent vehicle control, in-vehicle optics, cloud-vehicle system, and HarmonySpace cockpit, showcasing outstanding intelligent capabilities.

The Yijing X9 features precisely tuned body proportions, creating a tall and grand overall stance. The front end is equipped with an exclusive gradient-designed Star River Flowing Light headlight, featuring 412 dual-color ISD interactive light beads. The light bar spans 1.83 meters in length, delivering uniform light output without gaps or graininess, offering exceptional visual quality.

The side profile features smooth and flowing lines, with the manufacturer meticulously optimizing the golden ratio at the intersection of the A-pillar and D-pillar, giving the entire vehicle a strong sense of luxury. The rear is also equipped with the Star River Flowing Light through-type taillight, utilizing 1,172 industry-leading smallest specification light beads (3.5×8.5mm) to form an integrated light display, while supporting multi-scenario intelligent light language, exuding a high sense of technology.

This motor show did not reveal the specific interior layout of the vehicle. According to relevant reports, the Yijing X9 will debut with dual 17.2-inch butterfly-style connected screens powered by Huawei, offering a 3.4K ultra-high-definition resolution. Paired with HDR Vivid high dynamic range display technology, the screen delivers detailed and transparent imagery, providing a premium visual experience.

The new vehicle is also among the first models equipped with the new HarmonyOS cockpit Xiao Yi intelligent assistant, featuring intelligent capabilities for conversation, reasoning, and autonomous command execution. The in-vehicle AI multi-modal perception system is equipped with an 8-megapixel ultra-clear RGB camera and a 2-megapixel infrared night-vision camera, capable of accurately capturing interior details both day and night. All cameras support physical shutdown to ensure user privacy.

At the same time, this vehicle pioneers the rear overhead soft-light screen and the new HarmonyOS cockpit visual interaction system, comprehensively upgrading the intelligent travel experience.

Regarding intelligent driving, the Yijing X9 comes standard across all trims with Huawei Kunlun Intelligent Driving ADS 5, and is among the first to adopt the six-dimensional collision avoidance system CAS 5.0, covering vehicle protection across all speeds, all directions, all targets, all weather conditions, all scenarios, and all time domains, ensuring comprehensive safety performance.

Hardware specifications are equally impressive, with the entire lineup standardizing an 896-line dual-light-path image-level LiDAR, providing precise and stable data support for intelligent driving.
Regarding the chassis, the new vehicle features the Huawei Kunlun Chitu platform across all trims, equipped with the HUAWEI XMC Kunlun Digital Chassis Engine, which can real-time and accurately sense road conditions, automatically adjusting the vehicle's posture to balance driving stability and comfort. In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle will offer both a fully electric version and an REEV version. The former boasts over 850 km of CLTC range, while the latter achieves a combined range exceeding 1,200 km.
