At this year’s Hong Kong Auto Expo, Hongqi officially launched its flagship SUV, the E-HS9, with an intended price of HK$998,800.

The E-HS9 adopts Hongqi’s signature vertical grille combined with split headlight styling, carrying forward the design language of the Hongqi H9. The new model features an even larger grille, creating a more imposing and majestic presence. The sleek headlight clusters are accented with dedicated light strips that extend toward the intake grille, seamlessly integrating with the front design. The fog lights below are also incorporated into a continuous light strip, showcasing refined detailing.

The side profile displays smooth and elegant lines, highlighted by a bold character line running from the front headlights to the rear, significantly enhancing the body’s three-dimensional depth. Chrome accents on the C-pillar and D-pillar, along with a wide chrome panel on the C-pillar, exude a strong sense of prestige typical of luxury SUVs in this class. The vehicle is also equipped with concealed door handles, balancing aesthetics with aerodynamic efficiency.

The cabin emphasises a technology-oriented luxury style. It features dual 15.6-inch 2K central touchscreens, including a dedicated passenger-side display, along with a 16-speaker Bose premium sound system, 4-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic glass roof, and third-row electric folding seats.

The Hongqi E-HS9 is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive electric powertrain, delivering a maximum output of 630 horsepower and peak torque of 710 Nm. It achieves a WLTP range of 548 km.
