High-Value Compact SUV: Leapmotor A10 Showcased at 2026 Hong Kong Auto Expo

At this year's Hong Kong International Auto Expo, Leapmotor introduced the all-new A10, an entry-level compact SUV. The model was first launched in China's mainland in March.

The A10 continues Leapmotor's recognisable family design language. The front features a three-segment LED headlight assembly with a strong three-dimensional structure, creating a bold and modern visual impact. The vehicle is also equipped with a LiDAR sensor and multiple intelligent sensing components, supported by a high-performance ADAS chip, significantly enhancing its intelligent driving capabilities to handle a wide range of road conditions.

The side profile is exceptionally clean and fluid. The exterior mirrors are mounted on the door panels, paired with new concealed door handles that reduce aerodynamic drag while improving overall refinement. Three distinctive decorative lines on the D-pillar add a fashionable and youthful character to the vehicle.

The rear design echoes the minimalist aesthetic of the front, with well-balanced elements creating a strong sense of depth. A rear roof spoiler enhances the sporty appeal, while a practical rear wiper ensures both functionality and visual harmony.

The cabin adopts a clean, minimalist layout that aligns with current industry trends. Standard equipment includes a high-definition digital instrument cluster and a 2.5K resolution central touchscreen, powered by a next-generation cabin chip for smooth and responsive performance. The built-in AI voice assistant "Super Xiao Ling", powered by advanced large language models, delivers fast and accurate responses for seamless vehicle control.

Practical features abound, including wireless smartphone charging, dual front cup holders, and a sleek column-mounted gear selector that frees up centre console space and improves everyday usability.

Regarding power and range, the Leapmotor A10 is powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 90kW. It is available with two battery options: 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh, offering CLTC ranges of 403 km and 505 km respectively. Under fast-charging conditions, the battery can be replenished from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes.
