Recently, the Renault-Geely Brazil joint venture announced that it has officially commenced production of the Geely EX2 at its Ayrton Senna plant in Brazil.
Built on Geely's GEA platform, the EX2 is the second Geely model to achieve local production in Brazil. This milestone further strengthens the brand's local manufacturing footprint in the country.

Chen Jianjun, Head of Renault-Geely Brazil, stated that the comprehensive product strengths of the Geely EX2 fully demonstrate Geely's robust capabilities in automotive R&D and overseas market expansion. With growing demand in the Brazilian market and plans to introduce more competitive new models, Geely will continue to accelerate its localisation efforts in Brazil.

The successful local production of the Geely EX2 also marks the beginning of comprehensive local branding initiatives. In the future, Geely plans to expand its business presence across multiple cities in Brazil, enrich its product portfolio, and deliver high-quality, practical, and affordable mobility solutions to local consumers.
