Mercedes-Benz has officially announced that the all-new GLC 250 Electric, a fully electric four-wheel-drive SUV, is now open for reservations in Hong Kong. The indicative starting price is HK$799,000, with the first batch of vehicles expected to arrive and commence deliveries in the third quarter of 2026.

As the first variant available for pre-order in Hong Kong, the GLC 250 Electric is built on a brand-new 800V dedicated EV platform. It is equipped with an 85kWh lithium battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system paired with a 2-speed gearbox. The powertrain delivers a maximum output of 354 PS and peak torque of 505 Nm, enabling 0–100km/h acceleration in just 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 210km/h. Under WLTP standards, it offers a range of up to 650km. Thanks to the advanced 800V architecture, the vehicle supports up to 320kW DC fast charging, significantly enhancing charging efficiency.

The new model comes generously equipped as standard, featuring an illuminated Panamericana grille, the latest MBUX infotainment system, a Burmester 3D surround sound system, AMG body kit, and exclusive wheels. It also includes comfort seats with optional three-stage heating functionality.

As a five-door, five-seater pure electric SUV, the GLC 250 Electric has grown substantially compared to the previous petrol generation. It measures 4,845mm in length, 1,913mm in width, and 1,644mm in height, with the wheelbase extended by 80mm to 2,972mm. This results in noticeably more spacious interiors, with front headroom and footroom increased by 46mm and 13mm respectively, and rear headroom and footroom improved by 17mm and 47mm.

Cargo capacity is equally impressive, offering 570 litres in standard configuration, expandable to 1,740 litres with the rear seats folded. A practical 128-litre front trunk further enhances storage versatility. Optional equipment includes intelligent Airmatic air suspension, 4.5-degree rear-axle steering, and a 39.1-inch integrated MBUX Hyperscreen, allowing customers to further customise their driving experience.
