Jaecoo 6 Hong Kong Lineup Gets a Complete Refresh! Top-Spec 6T Model Makes Its Debut

The Jaecoo 6 has long been the best-selling vehicle model under Hong Kong's Omoda & Jaecoo dual-brand strategy. Recently, the local agent officially updated the lineup by introducing two all-new models while retaining the classic versions, offering more choices for local buyers.

The newly added entry-level variant is the Jaecoo 6 Pro single-motor rear-wheel-drive version, equipped with a 65.69kWh battery. This model features a simplified trunk storage design and reduced equipment. Its starting price is HK$289,888. Meanwhile, the two previous versions continue to be sold as before. After applying the trade-in discount, the starting prices for the 65.69kWh Jaecoo 6 2WD rear-wheel-drive version and the 69.77kWh Jaecoo 6 4WD four-wheel-drive version are HK$308,280 and HK$440,340, respectively.

In addition, the agent has officially unveiled the new flagship top-spec model — the Jaecoo 6T. While the exact price remains unconfirmed, it is tentatively set to start at around 440,000 HKD. The new model shares identical hardware specifications with the Jaecoo 6 4WD version, featuring an all-aluminum unibody chassis and body structure, rare in its class. It is powered by a 69.77kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a maximum power of 276ps and peak torque of 385Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 6.5 seconds, with a NEDC range of 436km. It supports DC fast charging up to 85kW, ensuring performance capable of meeting both daily commuting and off-road needs in Hong Kong. The core upgrades of the Jaecoo 6T focus on exterior design and off-road capability, emphasizing a bold sports-offroad style with an even more imposing presence. Vehicle dimensions have been increased compared to the standard version: length by 27mm, width by 6mm, and height by 26mm, reaching 4,333 x 1,916 x 1,741mm. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,715mm, and the vehicle weighs approximately 1,874kg.

Tire configurations have also been upgraded, now featuring brand-new 19-inch wheels paired with 245/55R19 wide tires, offering superior grip compared to the standard 225-spec tires. To enhance off-road performance, the manufacturer has specifically improved ground clearance, raising it from 195mm to 225mm, and increased wading depth to 625mm, making it more capable on Hong Kong's mountainous rural roads and slippery surfaces.

In terms of equipment, the Jaecoo 6T closely matches the 4WD version, offering a comprehensive set of practical features. These include a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 540-degree parking camera with under-vehicle visibility, a partially openable glass sunroof, faux leather seats, electric massage seats in the front row, climate-controlled ventilation for both front and rear rows, a 12-speaker Infinity sound system, and wireless phone charging.

Driving modes are equally diverse, with nine selectable drive modes covering three road modes (Eco, Comfort, and Sport) and six dedicated off-road scene modes. Whether for city commuting, highway cruising, or light off-road adventures, drivers can always select the most suitable setting.
