GAC Trumpchi Unveils New Rugged Electric SUV: "Trumpchi Yue 7" Official Images Revealed

Recently, GAC Trumpchi released official images of its new rugged new energy SUV, the "Trumpchi Yue 7". The vehicle adopts the popular boxy body design and is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining the tough off-road appeal with the fuel-saving advantages of new energy vehicles.

In terms of exterior design, the new car follows the highly popular boxy body lines of recent years, with a straight and rugged profile that fully showcases the power typical of rugged off-road vehicles. The front features a closed grille design common to new energy vehicles, paired with three vertically arranged daytime running lights, ensuring high visibility.

According to earlier declared vehicle information, the front roof of the new car is equipped with a LiDAR sensor, while sensors are also mounted on the front fenders, supporting advanced driver-assistance features and delivering impressive intelligent capabilities. The side profile continues the rugged off-road style, featuring wide and pronounced wheel arches, AT off-road tires, side steps, and floating-style outside mirrors as standard professional equipment. The mechanical flush-mounted door handles sit level with the body, creating a cleaner and sharper side profile. Additionally, the new car is equipped with practical off-road features such as roof rails, a spare tire carrier on the rear, and an externally mounted spare tire.

At the rear, the vertical taillights paired with an externally mounted spare tire form a classic off-road combination, featuring a retro and rugged look. The rear utilizes a side-opening tailgate design along with a hidden exhaust layout, balancing daily practicality with a refined aesthetic. Regarding powertrain, the new car employs a plug-in hybrid system, featuring a 1.5T engine with a maximum power output of 125kW, delivering sufficient performance.
